The assistant pondered over Song Jingshi’s words. Was it too much?
“But the host was clearly very comfortable and happy on the bed,” the assistant continued.
Song Jingshi’s cheeks flushed suddenly, and her round eyes glared fiercely at the nonexistent assistant.
“How do you know? Tell me! Have you been watching secretly?”
“I haven’t, host. You know the system is always monitoring your physical data, and some of your readings were very high at that time. The book says that those high values result from the host’s brain and body being excited.”
After the assistant’s statement, Song Jingshi was left speechless.
Excited she may be, but she had indeed been tormented terribly. She begged him!
Damn that Sui Han!
Unable to vent her anger on the assistant, Song Jingshi blamed it all on Sui Han.
“Knock, knock, knock!”
Someone was knocking on the door.
With no defenses, Song Jingshi, still in her slippers, opened the villa door.
Upon seeing the person outside, she quickly slammed the door shut.
But a hand stopped her.
“Darling, aren’t you happy to see your husband?”
“I don’t know you!”
Song Jingshi gritted her teeth, glaring at the man. How shameless could he be? He only played her husband in the dungeon, and he actually thought of himself as one!
She tried to shut the door as quickly as possible, not wanting to deal with this shameless person.
However, the door was pushed open from behind her.
“Xiaoshi, who is he?”
Chapter 70: Who is He?
Song Jingshi’s back pressed against Sui Han’s chest, the open door revealing Yuan Wen with a half-smile.
Though neither man was looking at her, she felt an enormous, unseen pressure enveloping her.
Yuan Wen glanced inside the house and then put on a nonchalant smile, “You must be Shiba’s brother. I am his former husband, Yuan Wen.”
Song Jingshi glared furiously at Yuan Wen, but all she received in return was a doting smile.
Her anger felt like it was hitting cotton; it couldn’t hurt this shameless person at all.
Sui Han’s usually cold eyes darkened with anger at Yuan Wen’s self-introduction.
“In all the years Xiaoshi and I have been together, I was unaware that he had a former husband. Could it be that this young man is suffering from some delusion, speaking of unrealistic things in broad daylight?”
Sui Han had always been a noble and aloof person, and it was impossible for him to say anything emotionally personal.
But since being with Song Jingshi, he had improved his eloquence immensely to deal with those attempting to steal her away.
Now, he could calmly respond to someone trying to take her from him with a sarcastic tone.
Yet, Song Jingshi had never seen this side of Sui Han, and she stood frozen, shocked by what she saw.
Her expression was visibly astonished. “Assistant, I’ve known him for so long and still never really knew him! So this is the real Sui Han!”
“Host, could it be possible that Sui Han’s true nature is cold and upright, but because of your presence as the demon lord, he has become so articulate?”
After saying that, the assistant played a sad song, trying to convey sorrow with its mechanical voice.
“For you~ I’ve turned into a werewolf~ Little fairy~ Master’s *****”
As soon as Song Jingshi heard that line, she was about to tell the assistant not to watch such strange things.
But the next thing that came out of the assistant’s mouth left her mind reeling.
“Assistant… where did you learn that last line?”
“You have to tell me the truth, did you watch some strange… movies?”
The assistant didn’t hesitate, answering in a lewd tone, “Host, I’m a fully grown system now. Isn’t it normal to watch those things? Besides, I’m just watching, while you have direct experience.”
The assistant’s tone became increasingly animated, almost wanting to experience it himself.
“Host, do you think I should get a girlfriend? But as a handsome assistant, no female assistant can match me. Back in my assistant academy days, countless female assistants confessed to me, and I turned them all down. I—”
“Stop!”
The two were communicating in their minds, completely forgetting the situation in reality.
The two men outside had started fighting, with a crowd gathering to watch.
“Isn’t that Yuan Wen? I remember he’s a dungeon addict; why is he fighting now instead of entering a dungeon?”
“Who is that white-haired guy? He seems to be able to tie with Yuan Wen, maybe even a little stronger.”
“Why are you all focusing on who is stronger? Shouldn’t we be worried about what punishment they’ll face for fighting?”
“They didn’t damage any public property, so they probably won’t get locked up, just sent to a punishment dungeon. This level of trouble probably won’t affect Yuan Wen much; after all, the top-ranked players are all monsters, their powers are terrifying.”
Chapter 71: The Pitiful One (1)
“Sigh, this shows the difference between ordinary players and experts. I remember before when someone violated rules, they disappeared into a punishment dungeon. For these experts, they just get a slightly harder dungeon, which hardly affects them. They’ll just take a bit longer.”
People gathered closer, and some even started betting on who would win the fight.
However, those people were destined not to get an answer.
The regulators arrived silently, and before anyone realized what was happening, Sui Han and Yuan Wen were taken away.
Song Jingshi watched helplessly as the two were escorted by men in black. Thankfully, the assistant explained the situation, or she might have rushed after them.
