As for Sui Han, he didn’t take him seriously at all.
In the base, the higher-ups had many powerful individuals under their command.
No matter how strong Sui Han was, it was impossible for him to protect the little beauty amidst the pressure from so many people. Perhaps he would even be grateful to himself, having rid of a burden and gained significant advantages.
The guard felt increasingly pleased with these thoughts and even imagined he had already received a promotion and a raise.
That night, after work, the guard hurried to report to the important figure he was following, talking about the little beauty he had encountered today.
The person was Wang Jian, the nephew of the deputy base leader, who was known for his lecherous nature. Many individuals with a bit of charm in the base had fallen victim to his predatory behavior.
As expected, once the guard finished speaking, Wang Jian immediately showed interest.
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on that ability user. As soon as he leaves, I’ll notify you right away. When the time comes, you can have your way with him. Even if the ability user is reluctant, there’s nothing he can do about it. The most we’ll need to do is offer him a little incentive.”
Wang Jian, pleased by this, patted the guard on the shoulder.
“Great! Once I get my hands on this little beauty, you will certainly be rewarded.”
“Thank you, sir! Thank you, sir!”
The next day.
Once Song Jinshi entered the base, he didn’t waste any time.
During his last visit, fearing that his identity would be exposed, he had hardly gone outside at all.
Now that the issue of his identity was resolved, he decided to thoroughly explore the human base.
As for Sui Han, he was nowhere to be seen during the day, claiming he was busy speeding up the progress of the instance.
While wandering around, Song Jinshi found himself at the trading market within the base.
It was filled with both ability users and ordinary people.
Some were selling crystal cores, others selling daily necessities, and some were offering labor.
Nothing caught his interest, and he left the market feeling apathetic.
As he approached an intersection, everything suddenly went black, and he lost consciousness.
“Are you sure he’s alone?”
“Of course! I’ve been following him the entire way. I saw him come out of that building, and he was all by himself. Don’t worry; once he enters here, he won’t be able to get out.”
Song Jinshi tried to open his eyes, but his eyelids felt too heavy, and his body was completely unresponsive. He could only listen as two male voices spoke.
These two people had no idea where they had taken him; he only sensed that it was chaotic.
He faintly heard indistinct, unspeakable sounds coming from both men and women.
“When will he wake up? The activities start tonight; we need to make sure he sells for a good price.”
“He should wake up in about two hours. Have someone watch the door; this is crucial for us to make big money. We can’t let him escape.”
The voices grew fainter.
After what felt like an eternity, Song Jinshi finally felt he could move.
He assessed his surroundings: a transparent bathroom, a pink round bed, and some peculiar items on the shelves.
Before he could fully gather his thoughts, the barrage of comments flooded in.
——“Oh my God, dear, why did you sneak into a love hotel?!”
——“Darling, are you cheating on us behind our backs? You really have a heart of stone—betraying us while the live stream isn’t on.”
——“Who is that person! I want to kill him!”
——“Hold on, I don’t think anything happened yet. I feel like he’s still confused.”
Song Jinshi glanced at the comments.
“Love hotel?”
He scrutinized his surroundings again, and when he saw some items on the shelf, his face turned bright red.
Nervously, he explained to the barrage, “I was kidnapped! I didn’t sneak off to do anything behind your backs.”
——“I can’t take it anymore; my darling is just too cute! Her first reaction was to explain to us instead!”
——“It’s okay, dear. Even if you did do something, you can just let me watch from the side, hee hee hee.”
Then more comments came in.
But those comments all turned into asterisks in his eyes.
“Little assistant, what do they want with me?”
Song Jinshi didn’t know what they were after.
“I don’t know, host. Don’t panic; let’s take it one step at a time.”
Just as the little assistant finished speaking, the door swung open.
“Awake?”
“Once awake, change into these clothes. Don’t think about escaping, or else you’ll have a bad time.”
The man threw a piece of clothing onto the bed and then stepped out, locking the door from the outside.
Song Jinshi picked up the clothing and gasped in shock at the style.
Then, his whole body felt as though it was cooked, desperately hiding the clothes under the blanket.
