How is he seducing his husband like this?
He couldn’t even recognize that he wasn’t actually his husband. Even though he hardly acted like Wei Xun, the other party didn’t notice anything amiss.
Does he really like his husband?
Or is it—
Does he actually know that he isn’t his husband?
He dressed like this for a reason—
The thought of a certain possibility made the man’s gaze darken.
His breathing quickened slightly.
It wasn’t the right time yet.
The man reminded himself.
“Are you not going to find the guests? Have you forgotten about your things?”
He Zhou’s deep voice prompted Song Jinshi.
Song Jinshi suddenly slapped his small head. “Oh, I forgot!”
Without caring about how He Zhou felt, he turned and went back to the bedroom to change, preparing to go downstairs to join the guests.
At that moment, He Zhou suddenly looked toward the doorway, as if sensing something.
However, all he could see was the cosy room and Song Jinshi bustling about like a little fool.
He Zhou didn’t know what to think.
He suddenly laughed softly.
“You’d better be truly dead, completely vanished from this world.”
“Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind giving you a hand.”
After changing clothes, Song Jinshi arrived at the live stream location downstairs.
Seeing everyone seated on the sofa waiting for him, he shyly smiled.
“We can start now,” he said to the guests.
Suddenly, Zhao Yi pulled out something resembling a compass, looking quite professional.
“Lead us to the place where you encountered the ghost.”
So, Song Jinshi first took them to the kitchen.
Before Zhao Yi could speak, the only female guest, Quan Chang, opened his mouth.
“It’s indeed very ominous here; the villa probably has a ghost.”
—”Who is this? Does he really have skills? He immediately states that there are ghosts; what if there’s no ghost at all?”
Under that comment, someone dug up Quan Chang’s identity information.
—”The direct granddaughter of Master Quan, a senior member of the Metaphysics Association, who has assisted the police in solving several metaphysical cases.”
—”You there, does your face hurt? She’s the granddaughter of Master Quan; are you questioning his capabilities?”
—”I don’t care about your arguments; I only want to know where the ghost is…”
Meanwhile, Song Jinshi was informed of Quan Chang’s identity by his little assistant.
Originally fearless, he suddenly became timid.
Wait, are ghosts really real?
At that moment, Song Jinshi felt as if ghosts surrounded him, like a fish on a chopping board.
“Then please resolve them quickly,” he said to the guests, a bit frightened.
“Don’t be afraid; Big Brother will protect you.”
Zhao Yi immediately stepped forward, patting Song Jinshi’s shoulder a couple of times.
Song Jinshi frowned and stepped back two paces.
Zhao Yi gave him an incredibly unsettling feeling; his intentions were too strong. Even now, he sensed no enthusiasm for completing the task, but rather an overwhelming desire to perform. Song Jinshi didn’t like him.
Maybe Zhao Yi had done too much wrong; he actually tripped while walking.
When he got up, his face turned noticeably darker, and he lost his initial friendliness towards the others.
Later, they searched the entire villa but only felt the ominous presence without any trace of ghosts.
—”I said, how could there be ghosts? It’s just another variety show using ghost hunting as a gimmick; blocked!”
—”If you keep it up, can’t I just casually say there’s an ominous presence here and expect you to hunt ghosts for me? Sorry, but the ghost has already run away.”
—”Learned something new today; now they’re doing fortune-telling and ghost hunting.”
Despite the nasty comments in the live room, aside from Zhao Yi, the guests showed almost no reaction, wishing each other goodnight before heading back to their rooms.
Song Jinshi had spent the entire day dealing with the program’s crew and had to keep up his facade; he felt utterly exhausted.
But he couldn’t rest.
Upon returning, he noticed the study light was still on; Wei Xun hadn’t gone to bed yet.
As an excellent partner, he needed to go call him back to sleep.
However, that didn’t stop Song Jinshi from complaining internally.
“Little assistant, he’s so annoying; isn’t he tired? It’s so late, and he’s still awake. I could have gone straight to bed, but now I have to call him to sleep together.”
“What does the original body even like about him? He’s so cold, lacking any warmth, and I can’t feel his affection for the original body. If it were me, I would have divorced him long ago! I wouldn’t like him at all!”
As Song Jinshi spoke, he grew more and more agitated, to the point that he didn’t even notice he was speaking aloud.
Just as he said the last sentence, Wei Xun walked from the study into the bedroom.
He happened to hear those last few words: “divorce” and “wouldn’t like him.”
Song Jinshi felt utterly embarrassed by the situation, not knowing what to do as he saw the man standing at a distance, looking at him with a profound expression.
At that moment, Song Jinshi’s brain raced.
He suddenly lunged into the man’s arms, tightly wrapping his arms around the man’s sturdy waist.
“You didn’t hear anything.”
He buried himself completely in the man’s embrace.
The man raised an eyebrow. “Divorce? Wouldn’t like him?”
His tone was very intriguing.
Then the man reached out, pressing Song Jinshi against his chest while leaning in close to whisper in his ear.
“Is my darling planning to divorce me?”
His tone betrayed no hint of anger or joy.
But Song Jinshi felt terrified and anxious.
