Undeniably, he had fallen in love — completely enamored with the man before him.
After finishing his hair styling, Fan Luojia was unusually silent.
When Shuai Chang returned from putting away the hairdryer, he found Fan Luojia obediently lying on his half of the bed, gazing at him with eyes full of hope and anxiety.
Shuai Chang lay down on the other side and turned to face Fan Luojia, asking, “What’s wrong? Why isn’t my Luojia saying anything?”
Fan Luojia simply shook his head.
Shuai Chang thought to himself: Ling Tuan, this is a bit tricky. Did the hairdryer burn him? He looks a bit uncomfortable and hasn’t said a thing.
Ling Tuan replied: He may… like you.
Shuai Chang questioned: Like me? What kind of like?
Ling Tuan responded: It’s like how a woman loves a man.
Shuai Chang: …
Fan Luojia has fallen in love with me????
He looked into Fan Luojia’s hesitant eyes, and it seemed… that it might be true…
# For the first time doing a good deed, suddenly hit by the attack of love, what should I do? #
Shuai Chang wasn’t bothered by being liked by a man.
Yet, a tiny shoot of joy blossomed in his heart, though he didn’t notice it.
Early morning, sunlight crept through the gaps in the curtains and shone on the bed. Shuai Chang opened his eyes to see Fan Luojia curled up on one side, his messy black hair covering half of his face. His lips were slightly parted, making soft sounds of sleep.
Shuai Chang smiled gently and leaned closer to Fan Luojia, reaching out to tuck his hair behind his ear, revealing his handsome face.
Fan Luojia’s eyelids and eyelashes trembled with his breathing, his sleeping face exuding an unparalleled innocence compared to his energetic expression when awake.
Shuai Chang pinched his nose playfully, “Little lazy pig.” His tone was filled with affection.
After checking the time, which was already seven o’clock, he got up to wash up. As he brushed his teeth, he caught a momentary glimpse of a strange face in the mirror, but he quickly shook it off and continued brushing.
Ling Tuan sensed Shuai Chang’s abnormality and asked worriedly, “What’s wrong?”
Shuai Chang splashed his face with a handful of cold water and replied, “I just couldn’t tell for a moment which is which, Yin Haidong or Shuai Chang. Why am I wearing a strange face… It’s fine, I can adjust my mindset. Don’t worry.”
Ling Tuan: “Mhm, it’s normal to feel a little off during your first mission. I believe you can overcome it.”
Shuai Chang took some bread, jam, and milk out from the fridge, placed the bread in the toaster, and hit the start button.
When he went back to the bedroom to grab his phone, it was already half-past seven. Fan Luojia was still sleeping, his cheeks flushed in the sunlight. Shuai Chang thought he looked unexpectedly adorable in this state.
He called Yu Lili to arrange Fan Luojia’s afternoon acting class, hung up, and knelt by the side of the bed, leveling his gaze with Fan Luojia’s. Suddenly inspired to tease, he pinched Fan Luojia’s nose with two fingers and covered his mouth with his other hand.
Fan Luojia, unable to breathe, shook his head in his sleep for help, but with both spots sealed tightly by Shuai Chang, he could only wake from his deep slumber.
Seeing him slowly open his eyes, Shuai Chang quickly withdrew his hands to avoid being found out.
“Luojia, wake up.” Shuai Chang gently called his name.
Fan Luojia struggled to open his eyes, momentarily blinded by the bright sunlight, and instantly closed them again. Shuai Chang watched helplessly as he fell back into a deep sleep.
Shuai Chang: “…”
He shook his head helplessly, “You truly are a lazy pig.”
He pulled the blanket off Fan Luojia, gently held onto his shoulders, and gradually pushed him up to a sitting position. Fan Luojia mumbled something, began rubbing his eyes, and after a moment finally dropped his hands, revealing his two lively black eyes barely open.
“Brother Haidong.” Fan Luojia yawned while covering his mouth.
Shuai Chang was standing behind him, and since Fan Luojia couldn’t see him, he instinctively called out to him.
“Little lazy pig, can you bear to wake up?” Shuai Chang’s voice, filled with a smile, rang from behind Fan Luojia.
Fan Luojia turned around with wide eyes, startled, “Brother Haidong, how are you behind me? You scared me to death!” He assumed there was no one in his bedroom and ended up surprising himself.
Shuai Chang raised his hands in helplessness, “I came to wake you up. Last night you didn’t sleep late; you should be okay to wake up after eight hours of sleep. Why do you look so tired?”
Fan Luojia had faint shadows under his eyes, and his eyelids were slightly red, with tears left from yawning.
“Really? I didn’t sleep well; I woke up several times at night. That’s why I feel tired.”
Last night, Fan Luojia had realized his feelings for Yin Haidong, feeling anxious about what if Yin Haidong didn’t feel as deeply for him as he did for Yin Haidong? He had been entangled with these thoughts for half the night and only looked at his phone to find it was already two in the morning.
He sulked silently, and turning his head, he saw Yin Haidong sleeping with a proper posture, hands neatly placed on his belly, breathing evenly. Fan Luojia imitated Yin Haidong’s pose, lying straight on the other side of the bed, gradually slowing his own breathing to match Yin Haidong’s rhythm. To his surprise, he dozed off quickly; however, when he woke up in the morning, his posture was quite off… Why was he sitting up?
“Did you push me up, Brother Haidong?” Fan Luojia squinted and asked.
Shuai Chang lied without a flicker of expression, “When I walked over, you looked like you had a nightmare, suddenly sitting up and yelling. I was afraid you would fall, so I came to support you from behind.” He shot a reproachful glance at Fan Luojia, who felt irrationally guilty under his gaze.
“Brother Haidong, I didn’t mean it that way.” Fan Luojia hurriedly explained. Had he really had a nightmare? How could he remember nothing?
Shuai Chang slightly lifted his chin, “What do you mean then?”
“I meant that when I sat up and then fell back down, you helped me not to tumble.” Fan Luojia hastily clarified in one breath. For the sake of making the person he loved happy, he had no boundaries.

From now on, I will write during the day and cultivate a good routine O(∩_∩)O
Shuai Chang: Ling Tuan, why is Luojia glaring at me hatefully? (totally confused)
Ling Tuan: … Probably because you’re a clueless fool.
