Fan Luojia attended a banquet tonight, and it was unclear whether he had returned home yet.
Shuai Chang took out his phone and called him.
“Hello, Brother Haidong.”
Shuai Chang heard that it was quite quiet around him; he probably wasn’t in the banquet hall. He asked, “Are you home?”
“Not yet, I’m on the way. There’s a bit of traffic on Sunlight Bridge.”
“Brother Haidong, are you looking forward to me coming back because you miss me?” Fan Luojia joked.
Shuai Chang loosened his tie, “Luojia, I had some drinks tonight. Can you come pick me up?” Sunlight Bridge wasn’t too far from where he was.
Shuai Chang told him his location.
“Okay, I’ll be there in about ten minutes. Just wait for me, Brother Haidong~”
Shuai Chang chuckled, “You little rascal.”
Fan Luojia’s ride was a black, extended Lincoln, provided by Yuejue Entertainment for banquet transportation. The driver was a veteran, skilled enough to evade paparazzi and provide protection.
When Shuai Chang got into the car, he sat opposite Fan Luojia. He wouldn’t feel the effects of the alcohol for another hour. His face was flushed and reeked of alcohol.
Fan Luojia had been cautious since he got drunkenly passed out last time; he mostly drank juice at the banquet tonight and felt very clear-headed.
“Brother Haidong, how much have you drunk?” Last time they had a bottle, and Yin Haidong didn’t get this drunk. He could even help him undress and take a shower.
Seeing Fan Luojia, Shuai Chang couldn’t help but replace the person from the video with him in his mind.
If only Fan Luojia’s legs were wrapped around his waist…
“Brother Haidong, why are you having a nosebleed?!” Fan Luojia exclaimed in panic.
Shuai Chang wiped it away with his sleeve and removed the image from his mind. The nosebleed stopped soon: “It’s nothing, just feeling a bit overheated lately.”
Fan Luojia’s gaze was inquisitive; he sat beside Yin Haidong and suddenly caught a whiff of a faint fragrance.
He leaned in and sniffed, his expression darkening, “Brother Haidong, how did you get that perfume scent?”
Shuai Chang was taken aback, raising his arm to his nose; besides the smell of alcohol, there was no other scent. “I don’t smell any perfume.”
Recalling that only Lin Lin had been in contact with him earlier when helping him, Shuai Chang said, “It might be from Lin Lin.”
“Lin Lin? That white birch Best Actor? How could you have been with him?” Fan Luojia couldn’t believe it.
He knew Lin Lin, who had taken on the film that he signed after withdrawing from the entertainment industry, winning the Best Actor award and becoming an instant hit.
Why would Yin Haidong have any connection with Lin Lin?
Shuai Chang tilted his head to look at him, saying, “It’s nothing, just a small actor who helped me out when I was drunk.” He told the lie without blinking.
If Fan Luojia knew that he was curious about male-male matters, he would definitely not remain innocent tonight. Perhaps before Fan Luojia could instigate anything, he would be the one to pounce.
For the first time, Shuai Chang felt that his fondness for legs wasn’t a good thing; he had a penchant for legs, regardless of gender. Currently, only Fan Luojia had a pair of beautiful legs that he adored, and the owner of those legs swayed before him every day. One day, he would surely succumb.
Unsure of how to explain to Fan Luojia, Shuai Chang calmly glanced at the driver and told Fan Luojia, “Let’s talk at home. It’s not convenient here.”
Fan Luojia scoffed, crossed his arms, and turned his back on him.
Shuai Chang felt a headache coming on.
Fan Luojia was pampered by Shuai Chang, and his temper had grown more pronounced. After they got home, he stared at Yin Haidong, standing still in front of him, waiting for an explanation.
Shuai Chang’s drunkenness intensified, his head felt increasingly dizzy, and he could barely stand before collapsing onto the sofa.
“Look, I’m drunk and can’t stand up; Lin Lin just helped me a little.” He pressed his temples, trying to explain.
Fan Luojia tried to pull him up but couldn’t budge him. “With your physique, it’s hard to believe Lin Lin could support you.”
Shuai Chang couldn’t say he had intentionally cooperated in standing up. He sat there with a drunken tilt, looking at Fan Luojia without speaking.
“Pouting doesn’t work.” Fan Luojia laughed in annoyance.
Shuai Chang was genuinely drunk; his last conscious thought lingered on that moment.
The next day, he awoke with a splitting headache, struggling to open his eyes. He instinctively tried to press his temples with his right hand, only to find that his hands and feet were bound and completely immovable.
The only part of his body that could move was his neck, with his limbs stretched out and tied to the posts at the head and foot of the bed.
“Brother Haidong, you’re awake. Come have some honey water.” Fan Luojia approached him cheerfully, seemingly unaware of his predicament, and gently fed him with a small spoon full of honey water.
Shuai Chang squinted, not resisting as he tried to understand his current situation.
Thanks to the spoilers from the spiritual group, he had thought Fan Luojia was playing a pitiable character who gave up his dreams for love only to be betrayed by his lover. But now, what situation was he in?
Shuai Chang: I need an explanation.
Spiritual Group: Well… because of your so-called “cheating” behavior yesterday, Fan Luojia has darkened.
Shuai Chang: Nonsense, Luojia is so kind and adorable, how could he possibly darken!
Spiritual Group: Don’t forget, he values love above all else, and you’ve spoiled him so much that his temper has grown. Seeing you cheat, he might just darken out of spite.
Shuai Chang: I spoiled him; it’s my fault then.
Spiritual Group: Uh, aren’t you great at calming people down? Just coax him a little.
No matter what Shuai Chang said afterwards, the spiritual group refused to respond.
Shuai Chang turned his head to avoid the honey water Fan Luojia offered, “Let’s have a chat.”
Fan Luojia’s smile faded for a moment, then quickly returned, “Sure.” He showed two little tiger teeth.
Shuai Chang felt a chill at the back of his neck; Fan Luojia’s tiger teeth now resembled a vampire’s fangs, and Shuai Chang feared he might pounce on him and drain him completely.
Fan Luojia set the honey water aside, walked to the window to draw the curtains, plunging the room into darkness.
He approached slowly, gently resting on Shuai Chang’s chest, and said in a low voice, “Brother Haidong, let’s have a serious talk.”
Shuai Chang was covered in goosebumps!
His heart raced furiously, and his face instantly flushed red.
“How do we talk?” He was parched and swallowed hard.
