“W-what do you mean by cohabitation? Yalin, don’t say such things. Adoonis and I won’t cross any boundaries. Right, Adoonis?” Anqiluo looked at Shuichang, his azure eyes full of trust.
“Cough, right. Yalin, you shouldn’t think so poorly of us. Don’t you need to apologize to your sister-in-law?” Shuichang avoided Anqiluo’s gaze, afraid he would disappoint him.
Yalin clutched his chest, “Sister-in-law, I’m sorry! It’s my fault for being so disgusting. No wonder I don’t have a boyfriend. Could it be because my thoughts are too improper?”
Anqiluo nodded, “I think that might be the reason.” After saying that, he started to laugh. Even though it was daytime, the starlight sparkled in his blue eyes.
Yalin couldn’t believe it, “Sister-in-law, have you gone bad?!”
Seeing Yalin looking at him, Shuichang immediately replied, “Anqiluo has only said a few words to you, and you’ve already gone bad. Yalin, you should reflect on yourself instead.”
“…” Yalin bit his finger, looking pitiful. “Boss, you have no humanity towards the opposite sex.”
Shuichang coldly stated the facts: “You and Anqiluo can’t be compared at all. I thought you knew that.”
One!! Million!! Blows!!
After a couple of lovebirds finished dinner with Yalin, they each returned to their dorms to pack their belongings.
Anqiluo had everything at home, so Shuichang only needed to bring a few changes of clothes.
Under Anqiluo’s gaze, Shuichang didn’t turn pale as he pulled out a wad of tight black underwear!
Anqiluo’s face turned red as he turned his head away, his fair face almost always flushed when in front of Shuichang.
Shuichang folded the underwear into his dimensional ring and realized he had nothing but his school uniform.
“Hmm… how about shopping at the mall later?” After all, he was still a student, so wearing a school uniform while shopping shouldn’t be too strange.
Anqiluo obediently nodded; whatever Adoonis said was fine.
The two exited the school gate and headed straight to the mall.
That evening, after eating out, they took a taxi back to Anqiluo’s house.
Shuichang silently gazed at the half-mountain villa before him. Anqiluo claimed his family had many rooms, and it turned out to be true.
Once inside, Anqiluo led Shuichang on a tour of the rooms: “Adoonis, there are five rooms on the second floor and three on the first. Would you prefer to stay upstairs or downstairs?”
Shuichang asked, “Where’s your bedroom?”
Anqiluo replied, “I’m on the second floor.”
“Then let’s go check the second floor.”
“Okay,” Anqiluo walked in front, and as they ascended, his school uniform pants clung tightly to his backside, his full curves swaying before Shuichang’s eyes.
“Adoonis, this is my bedroom.” Anqiluo pushed the door open and turned back.
“Adoonis, why are you bleeding? Come in; I’ll help you clean it up!” Anqiluo panicked, pulling Shuichang into the room, making him sit on the bed while he hurriedly grabbed a tissue.
Shuichang tilted his head back and said, “Anqiluo, I think I should wash up first.”
Overwhelmed with concern, Anqiluo blushed and led Shuichang to the bathroom.
Shuichang washed off the blood from his hands and face, and Anqiluo handed him a towel.
“It’s stopped bleeding now, don’t worry,” Shuichang said, shaking his head, his damp hair sticking to his face.
“How could you suddenly have a nosebleed? Is the air too dry? I’ll find a humidifier later.”
Shuichang struggled inside; he couldn’t explain that he was feeling pent up and had a mind full of thoughts on how to tackle Anqiluo.
The road he chose must be walked to the end, even if it meant crying.
It was just over a month of a non-sexual cohabitation; a few more recitations of calming spells would do the trick.
Seeing that Adoonis was alright, Anqiluo showed him the remaining five guest rooms, “Which one do you like?”
Shuichang pointed to the guest room adjacent to Anqiluo’s bedroom, “Let’s go with this one; I don’t want to be too far from you. I’m afraid I won’t be able to sleep at night.”
“What? Adoonis, you’re so sweet with your words lately.” Anqiluo shut the guest room door.
“It hasn’t been cleaned in a while, and it’s dusty. You can sleep with me tonight; I’m sorry for the inconvenience.”
Anqiluo’s bed was designed for female beastmen, offering ample space for him but making it extremely uncomfortable for Shuichang, who was 1.9 meters tall.
While sleeping, his long legs hung off the side of the bed, holding the delicate Anqiluo in his arms. It was a struggle for him; the discomfort was unbearable.
The dual torment kept him awake.
The next morning, Anqiluo woke up in Shuichang’s warm embrace. He rubbed his face against Shuichang’s chest, rolled over, stretched lazily, and sleepily said, “Adoonis, good morning.”
“Good morning.” Shuichang stared blankly at the ceiling.
He had kept his eyes open all night, stubbornly holding out until dawn.
Anqiluo nestled closer and noticed Shuichang’s face, exclaiming, “Adoonis, what happened to your eyes?”
Adoonis’ beautiful emerald-like eyes were veined with red, the dark circles beneath were prominently visible, his pale face suggesting he looked unwell.
“Adoonis, let me take you to the hospital,” Anqiluo hurriedly suggested.
Shuichang sat up from the bed and soothingly patted Anqiluo’s frail back: “Anqiluo, I’m fine. I just had a bit of insomnia on my first night here.”
“Really?” Anqiluo’s eyes welled with tears.
“Of course,” Shuichang hugged Anqiluo close, “I’ll get used to it if I stay a few more days.”
“Besides, what’s wrong with your understanding of your own charm? With my beloved boyfriend sleeping next to me, I can’t help but think about kissing and hugging you; it would be weird if I could sleep.”
Anqiluo’s face flushed red, feeling like he had invited a wolf into the house.
Chapter 84: Beastmen Value Wealth Above All
Shuichang was just teasing Anqiluo, and he wouldn’t rashly take action before they were married.
Female beastmen could easily get pregnant, and he didn’t yet have the means to provide a good life for Anqiluo and a child.
After the two got up that morning, Anqiluo went to the kitchen downstairs to prepare breakfast.
When Shuichang tidied up and went downstairs, Anqiluo was already waiting at the dining table for him.
“What are these?” On the white wooden table, there were two plates intricately designed with patterns, each containing three light-green balls.
