The Zhang family has many descendants. Even though Zhang Yanming is one of the more favored individuals among them, he is by no means irreplaceable.
After Zhang Yanming’s grandfather became enraged, the family quickly recalled the resources that had previously been allocated to him. If Zhang Yanming could soar to success without these resources, perhaps the Zhang family would regard him more favorably.

“Does it look nice?”
He Xue Zhu smiled as she reached out to touch the flower, tilting her head to ask her husband.
“Very beautiful.”
Lin Shiheng smiled as he helped her up. “I just saw some kids flying kites over there; let’s go take a look.”
“Le Yang loves these things. Despite being so old, he insists on taking a day off next week to kite-fly with us. We’ll fly the kites first and send her pictures to make her envious.”
“You, really, how come you’ve turned into an old child?”
The couple walked away, and just from their silhouettes, one could tell they were incredibly happy.
Miao Xing remained in a daze. After her release, she learned that Lin Shiheng had become a remarkable figure, recognized and honored, and though he had only one daughter, she excelled in skills and continued his legacy, becoming an outstanding military figure.
Meanwhile, the He Xue Zhu whom she once scorned was now deeply immersed in medical research, earning lifelong respect.
