Lusnian was a bit surprised. From what he understood, the Abyss was seen as a den of danger to outsiders. He had prepared himself for a day without customers, but unexpectedly, there was a surprise.
He quickly put on a standard smile and introduced, “What would you like to buy, sir? Take your time to browse.”
The man cautiously glanced at the demon from the corner of his eye and, indeed, was taken aback by the demon’s stunningly beautiful and otherworldly face. He quickly lowered his head, not daring to offend this noble being, feeling relieved that he had survived.
In the recent days in Vista City, a rumor had spread wildly. It was said that deep within the Beastmaster Forest, there was a mysterious shop run by a demon that could provide infinite vitality and hope.
Inside, various magical potions and magical items were sold at low prices, with astonishing effects.
He was just an ordinary low-level warrior, stuck at this level for many years, barely scraping by by hunting monster beasts.
But in recent months, the beast tide had become increasingly ferocious, and his strength was no match for the nearby Magic Association. He had almost lost his life in the Beastmaster Forest several times.
Looking at his young daughter at home, he boldly came to the Abyss after hearing the rumor, intending to take a risk for her sake.
When he fell after stepping into thin air, despair filled his heart, and he regretted believing the rumor, daring to venture into the Abyss.
Fortunately, the next moment, fate turned, and when he opened his eyes to see the mysterious building in front of him, not only was he alive, but he had actually found the demon’s shop that was supposed to be in transit.
Who would have thought the rumor was true? If he hadn’t been out of options, he wouldn’t have tried to search.
Recalling the rumored magical potion, he carefully shifted his gaze and, as expected, saw a familiar item in one of the light orbs.
“Hello… um, how much is that?”
Swallowing hard, the man’s voice was barely a whisper as he pointed to the light orb.
Lusnian looked over; it was a bottle of cola. He calmly took it, smiling as he promoted his product: “Sir, you have a discerning eye; this cola is especially delicious and will certainly leave a lasting impression.”
He handed the cola to the man and quoted, “One bottle of cola for ten gold coins.”
This price was quite high for a low-level warrior; he hadn’t saved many coins over the years while supporting his family.
But once he became a mid-level warrior, he could take on higher-level tasks, hunt more monsters, and not worry about the beast tide. Earning money would be much easier.
Ten gold coins to advance a level was practically a steal, especially when there might not even be anyone selling it.
The man gritted his teeth and fished out ten shiny gold coins from his pocket.
He held the cola as if it were a treasure and cautiously asked, “Sir, can I finish drinking it here before I leave?”
Having spent this significant amount on the treasure, he feared it would be snatched away if he went outside. If he weren’t worried about displeasing the demon, he would have gladly opened it and downed it immediately, fearing that time might be against him.
Lusnian didn’t mind; it was just a bottle of drink. He waved his hand, “You can.”
The man carefully pulled the tab on the cola and took a sip. He barely processed the overwhelming sensation of refreshment before he was suddenly infused with an explosive surge of magical power.
Before he could comprehend what was happening, he had effortlessly shattered the barrier that had kept him stuck as a low-level warrior for years.
At that moment, the man felt as if he could shed tears of gratitude towards the demon. He covered his face; if this weren’t so real, he might have thought he was dreaming.
Lusnian glanced at him and frowned. It might have been an illusion, but he always sensed something strange about these customers.
He thought, it seemed the people from this other world still couldn’t get used to the taste of cola. Perhaps it was just too good? But that was a bit exaggerated.
The man tucked the empty bottle securely into his clothes, treating this shop as his second chance in life.
Who cared if it was a demonic deity? As long as it helped him, even a demon could be a savior.
His attitude turned exceptionally respectful, and he immediately decided to pledge loyalty to the demon, abandoning the Light God.
Lusnian was unaware of the man’s inner thoughts. Seeing he had finished the cola, he prepared to send him back.
Then he remembered how remote the shop was and asked the man, “How did you find this place?”
“Well… there were rumors in Vista City about shops in the Abyss…” The man respectfully explained to Lusnian.
Rubbing his chin, Lusnian thought for a moment before taking the man onto the elevator and successfully sending him off.
Before he could catch his breath, a ding sounded from the transmission device outside again.
Throughout the day, people came in one after another, most of them there to buy cola.
Watching the energy coins in the system panel steadily rise, Lusnian remembered Abel, who had bought a great deal of items in one go yesterday.
Perhaps it was Abel who helped promote his shop.
He wondered if Abel would come again; he certainly needed to thank him when he returned.

“Hey, George, I’ve heard there’s a new E-level mission at the mercenary guild hall. Want to team up and go?”
The muscular warrior punched George, putting on a hilariously exaggerated smile.
George was a frail man; for the first time, he refused his friend’s request, saying in a low voice, “No, this time I want to try a D-level mission.”
“What? George, don’t be ridiculous! A D-level mission isn’t something low-level warriors like us can take on. I know you need the money, but you can’t take that risk, right?”
Seeing his friend’s worried expression, George smiled and explained, “No, I’ve already become a mid-level warrior. I want to try more difficult tasks.”
“…Huh?” His friend stared blankly, unable to help but pat George’s head, mumbling, “You’re not feverish, are you?”
Chuckling, George pushed his friend’s hand away and detailed his recent adventure.
