Yanchuan finally replied with some difficulty, “Alright.”
“Saturday afternoon?” he asked. “I’m free at that time.”
Spade replied, “Good.”
Yanchuan then shared his contact information with Spade for future communication.
A short distance away, in a conference room.
Separated by several walls from the break room and equipped with high-quality soundproofing, any noise from inside the room was completely inaudible from outside once the door was shut.
Of course, there were no irrelevant people sneaking into the building either.
The projector emitted a soft blue light, and the long table was filled with serious, contemplative corporate elites, charged by a metered time system.
At the end of the long table sat a tall, handsome man dressed in formal attire.
He appeared to be around twenty-six or twenty-seven, with sharp and youthful features. Yet he exuded an intimidating presence, shedding any hints of immaturity; clearly, he was a very assertive man.
His suit jacket was expensive, but peculiarly bulged at the chest pocket, as if it were stuffed with something.
Unlike others in the conference room who wore tense expressions, the man seemed somewhat relaxed, propped up on his right hand, his long fingers lightly tapping on the table.
His cufflinks glittered with sapphire, each facet cold and precise, giving off a faint chill.
The presenter on stage was analyzing data, yet the attention of the attendees was lacking.
The man casually adjusted his wristwatch, which made a soft “click” sound, resounding clearly in everyone’s ears.
If anyone looked closely, they might even catch a hint of delight in the depths of his eyes.
Despite his relaxed demeanor, nobody dared to make eye contact with him, hoping to gauge their superior’s mood.
“The overall traffic during this period is increasing…”
The presenter methodically reported on the platform’s trends and new rising stars in live streaming.
The screen transitioned to display an exceptionally beautiful face.
“This one,” the well-dressed staff pointed out, “is the streamer with the fastest-growing fan base and very high audience loyalty.”
“Category: Gaming; Tags: Cross-dressing Streamer.”
This was a straightforward analysis devoid of personal bias. Even the photo displayed on the screen had clearly been taken directly from a contract and appeared slightly pixelated.
However, when the photo was shown, everyone’s gaze instinctively shifted to the figure on the screen.
A snow-white and beautiful face.
The skin was as white as jade, resembling delicate milk pudding, pure and unblemished, the simple white shirt barely concealing that flawless complexion.
The features were soft, with almond-shaped, lustrous black eyes that sparkled with an almost watery brightness. The slightly upturned corners of the eyes were subtly flushed, diminishing the softness and adding an indescribable allure.
Below was a prominent nose, with a slightly upturned tip. The soft, full lips were pressed together, hinting at a smile.
This instantly led people to conclude, “This person is exceptionally beautiful.”
Everyone has different preferences in beauty; some prefer stunning, aggressive looks, while others favor a harmless, gentle appearance, like that of a delicate creature. The individuals in the conference room differed too, but they were currently fixated on the photo.
The person in the image seemed to carry an unexplainable enchantment, making it hard for their eyes to move elsewhere.
The image depicted someone looking out with an expression that seemed a bit shy, perhaps due to distortion from the photograph.
His lips slightly pursed in a smile, he appeared to gaze toward someone outside the frame.
The camera perfectly captured a moment of his melancholic expression paired with a hint of a smile.
Or perhaps, anyone who gazed at this photo felt as though the person in it was looking directly at them, sending a timid glance their way.
“Apologies…” the staff member realized they had momentarily zoned out, quietly uttering an apology before resuming, “I believe this streamer is worth significant cultivation. If he participates in this quarter’s events, there’s a high probability he will achieve first place.”
After a brief lapse, the room transitioned into a diligent series of questions, probing into the streamer’s commercial value.
Someone raised a card: “What are the collaboration possibilities for this streamer?”
The staff responded, “Currently, his live stream has connected with many game streamers, including professional players, and the feedback has been very positive; the fans are engaged.”
The questioner lowered the card, signifying agreement.
Another person asked, “What are the future cultivation plans?”
The staff member shared a preliminary idea: “Deepen the existing brand image, find suitable streamers to collaborate with him, and continue establishing the ‘cross-dressing streamer’ persona.”
No one voiced dissent.
In the face of high-precision data analysis and real photos, there was no opposition to significantly cultivating this new streamer.
While it’s already quite unbelievable to heavily invest in a new streamer, doing so also requires other streamers to cooperate with him.
Someone suddenly lifted a card, pushing the document onto the table: “Considering this, as his manager, I have redrafted the contract and made adjustments to some of the terms.”
If Yanchuan were present, he would likely recognize this as his manager.
“Knock knock.”
The man seated at the head of the table abruptly lowered his hand and tapped the surface.
This sound acted as a signal, pulling everyone immersed in discussion back to focus.
An assistant approached and handed the document to the man at the head of the table.
The rustle of paper arose, and the presenter fell silent, unsure of what the man intended to say.
Usually, he refrained from intervening in platform arrangements for streamers, and except for major directional changes, he seldom spoke.
But now…
All eyes turned to him, some unable to comprehend the situation.
“The file is now with me,” the man briefly scanned the contract before placing it down. “From now on, all matters regarding him must be approved by me.”
“Understood.”
The assistant was the quickest to react, immediately confirming.
