The vegetables in the soil had already sprouted green leaves, which showed that they had been well cared for by the agricultural robots.
“Wow, that’s great.”
Tong Sui wrapped his arms around White Xingluo’s neck, leaning out to look. With no one else around, he felt a little bolder. “Luo Luo, I’m hungry.”
“Okay, I’ll go cook now.”
As they pushed the door open, they saw a figure inside.
The old butler, Carl, was cleaning up the villa for them.
Tong Sui felt particularly awkward being held like this when he saw a familiar face.
“Good to see you, Mr. Butler.”
Old Butler Carl looked surprised to see Tong Sui. Although he had aged, he had received the news. The rumored S-Class male bug was the same Tong Sui he had seen that day.
While he was surprised, it wasn’t too unexpected.
From their first meeting, he felt that such a charismatic male bug would never be ordinary.
However, Old Butler Carl thought that once this male bug was recalled by the royal family, he would not have the opportunity to see him again.
Tong Sui’s sudden appearance caught him off guard.
This young prince was still as calm and clean as before.
It seemed that power and royal status had left no marks on him; he was still that beautiful little bird that could perch delicately on the tips of reeds.
Old Butler Carl respectfully bowed to him, saying, “Your Highness, Tong Sui.”
His gaze shifted to the other person who had entered with him, noticing the royal attendant uniform and the unfamiliar face.
But the mannerisms of the two were rather intimate, which created a stark contrast.
Old Butler Carl was aware that among high-ranking noble bugs, it was common to keep some nameless female bugs around.
His words came out slowly, “Have you found a new favorite?”
White Xingluo had yet to speak.
Tong Sui, cradled in his arms, laughed first. His shoulders shook with laughter as he clung to his neck. “Mr. Butler, I brought my new favorite to play. Luo Luo won’t be angry, right?”
Seeing their closeness, Old Butler Carl recalled the love-filled gaze of his patron.
Although it was a bit disappointing, it was quite normal.
A male bug was destined not to remain with one military female, especially top-tier males who often faced more temptations.
White Xingluo’s eyes deepened for a moment. He replied, “My lord, what do you think?”
Upon hearing this voice, Old Butler Carl was bewildered.
He blinked his somewhat cloudy eyes, confirming that while this attendant had the same hair color, his appearance was completely different from that of his patron.
Just as he was trying to make sense of the situation, the attendant spoke again, “Carl, you can return now; I’ll handle things here.”
Only after Old Butler Carl was ushered out did he realize in a daze.
That person seemed to be his patron.
He took a couple of steps forward but was startled by the armed military females and battleships around.
It was terrifying.
Perhaps he, as an old bug, no longer understood the youthful love of this generation.
Tong Sui was placed on the soft sofa in the living room while White Xingluo turned and headed into the open kitchen.
“You sit here and wait for me for a bit.”
The refrigerator was stocked with fresh ingredients, filled to the brim thanks to Carl.
White Xingluo skillfully prepared the ingredients, and before long, a little tail joined him from behind.
Tong Sui, who had originally been sitting on the sofa, had followed him. He seemed obsessed with helping out in the kitchen.
“My lord, it’s too dangerous here.”
White Xingluo turned and held Tong Sui’s hand in his warm, soft palm, free of any callouses.
“These things might hurt you.”
“Ah, but I have to learn,” Tong Sui lowered his gaze. “I don’t know anything and I will hold you back…”
“You won’t.”
White Xingluo supported himself on the counter behind Tong Sui, effectively trapping him in that small space.
“I just like you; it has nothing to do with what you know.”
He lowered his head and kissed Tong Sui, leaving him dizzy, before carrying him away.
They walked and kissed simultaneously.
Tong Sui felt as though all the kisses he’d have in this lifetime were happening today.
Out of breath, Tong Sui found himself placed on the bed, the soft cushion sinking slightly beneath him.
White Xingluo said, “Wait for me a moment. If you’re hungry, you can sleep for a bit; I’ll be back soon.”
As he straightened up to leave, the hem of his garment was gently tugged by a delicate hand.
The fingers were pale and tender, pulling the fabric into a few wrinkles.
Tong Sui murmured, “I suddenly don’t feel that hungry. You don’t have to go.”
The heavy curtains blocked most of the light, limiting Tong Sui’s view to make out the shapes in front of him.
But White Xingluo, with his strong mental powers, could see clearly and noticed Tong Sui’s ears turning red as he spoke.
Tong Sui felt a bit anxious, even beginning to wonder why he had said such things.
Just as he was in turmoil, a deep voice drew closer, “Then, my lord, would you like to eat me to satisfy your hunger?”
