The noble females were reluctant, but there was no way to change his mind.
Tong Sui blinked at White Xingluo and said, “Let’s go, it’s just us left now.”
White Xingluo watched as Tong Sui took his hand, dismissing those females like a dream. He was led back to the warship.
Tong Sui went to the control room, said something, and then returned.
Only they remained on the ship.
“Your Majesty, you shouldn’t have chased them away.”
“Didn’t you dislike them?” Tong Sui said, “Disliking them but still keeping them by my side, what do you think, Luo Luo?”
“I…”
White Xingluo looked at their intertwined hands, feeling the heat from Tong Sui’s fair and delicate fingers.
Since he learned that Tong Sui had evolved into a top-ranked male insect, he felt more than joy from the rank; it was the relief that his master was healthy again.
But along with that came longing. He rushed back to the Empire Star overnight, and seeing the various comments and photos online, his greedy negative emotions nearly overwhelmed him.
He thought merely seeing his master would satisfy him.
Yet when he actually arrived at the banquet, hiding in a corner, watching those scheming females continuously offer drinking to the male insect, he felt as if he would merge with the darkness.
Seeing his drunken master, he bravely went to help him, but things spiraled out of control, and his master recognized him.
Even in public, Tong Sui showed kindness to him unreservedly.
These were things he had never anticipated; clearly, Tong Sui could pretend not to know him and continue enjoying his current fortune.
Tong Sui could become the next insect king revered by all the insect race, coveted and adored by all the female insects.
While he felt incredibly insignificant.
A male insect with a tarnished reputation, a blemish on Tong Sui’s image.
White Xingluo said, “You shouldn’t be publicly gifting me…”
“Then don’t you want it? If you don’t want it, I’ll take it back.”
Tong Sui made a motion to take off the necklace he had personally put on White Xingluo, but was held back by him.
A hot kiss landed on the back of his hand.
“I want it; there’s no reason to take back something you gave me.”
White Xingluo lowered his long eyelashes, kissing Tong Sui’s hand, seeming to be more uninhibited in a private place.
While kissing, he analyzed for Tong Sui: “I’m just your attendant; if you treat me well, all insects online will know that you can’t distinguish between what’s important and what’s not.”
“Luo Luo, I can distinguish between what’s important and what’s not.”
Tong Sui was very clear about one thing: he appeared in this world precisely for White Xingluo.
In his mission, White Xingluo was the most important.
As for other statuses, fame, public opinion, or discussions, none of that mattered.
“You are the most important one to me.”
White Xingluo’s lips seemed to tremble fiercely at his words. He quivered but refused to retreat, silently making practical moves along Tong Sui’s fingers.
He seemed to grow increasingly skilled at such things.
This time, Tong Sui maintained a bit more clarity, holding his face.
“Luo Luo, speak.”
White Xingluo had a faint premonition; it seemed that as long as he spoke, Tong Sui would be able to abandon everything now and leave with him.
And that feeling was very strong.
He didn’t like that such unworthy females surrounded his master, yet he also hoped his master could reside in that dazzling place.
He didn’t want to see his master suffer even the slightest grievance or continue living in a small house that didn’t belong to him.
White Xingluo opened his mouth and kissed Tong Sui deeply again, flipping him onto the seat.
Inside the warship’s cabin, without those troublesome females, even sounds no longer needed to be concealed.
He felt like a starving beast, capturing the most beloved prey, wanting to devour it whole, yet unwilling to do so.
He gnawed repeatedly.
Tong Sui initially wanted to have a good conversation with him but inexplicably got sidetracked, his head swirling and unable to think, his body devoid of any strength.
When the warship finally stopped, White Xingluo halted as well, carefully adjusting his collar to hide the marks on his neck.
Tong Sui’s lips were rosy as he looked at him weakly; dark feathers were glistening with water droplets, as if they were complaining adorably.
Upon catching his gaze, White Xingluo lowered his head and kissed him again. After a lingering kiss, he said seriously, “Your Majesty, if you keep looking at me this way, I won’t be able to take it.”
Tong Sui gasped, the scent of his companion filling his breath, cold and overwhelming, encroaching on his space.
Once he gradually calmed down, he perceived that White Xingluo was intentionally avoiding his topic through this means.
“Your Highness Tong Sui, we’ve arrived at the place you requested.”
The driver’s voice came through the intercom as the cabin door opened.
Tong Sui snapped back to reality; he opened his arms and was effortlessly embraced by White Xingluo.
White Xingluo carried Tong Sui down, and upon seeing the scene before him, he froze for a few seconds.
Nestled in his arms, Tong Sui said softly, “Are you happy? We’re going home.”
His voice was soft and warm, sending heat through his skin, tingling at every pore.
White Xingluo’s throat moved with difficulty.
“Your Majesty, I’m very happy.”
The house before them was exactly the villa in Xinghe Continent.
They had lived there together, decorated the furniture, and even planted seeds in the courtyard.
These experiences felt so beautiful, like a dream, but now welcoming his master back was as if the dream suddenly turned into reality.
All the scenery came alive.
White Xingluo opened the courtyard gate; the timing coincided with the courtyard’s watering, and a faint rainbow floated in the air.
