With Chi Xingyu’s appearance, the popularity of the live stream soared. What they were even more concerned about was the attire he wore on camera. Sleepwear. Moreover, the style didn’t seem to match Chi Xingyu’s usual clothing.
The bullet comments rolled in:
—— “Everyone is wearing pajamas; is this the aftermath of an event?”
—— “Rather than watching Sui Bao play games, I’d rather see Sui Bao and Chi Shen wrestling in bed.”
—— “Can we live stream the fight?”
Tong Sui read those comments, his face turning red due to his thin skin. He wasn’t completely oblivious; he understood exactly what they were referring to. He lowered his eyelashes, his cheeks flushed with a vibrant crimson that even reached his eyes.
This only provoked the bullet comments to become even more outrageous. Chi Xingyu glanced at the ridiculous commentary on the screen and retorted, “How about we set up an SVIP area here so you can witness it live?”
—— “Sounds good, sounds good!!”
—— “Post the link. I’ll pay instantly.”
—— “Are you selling, streamer? How much for a night?”
Idiot.
Chi Xingyu directly disabled the bullet comment function in the live stream, coldly glaring at the screen, “Is your mother’s ashes for sale? How much per pound? Sell them to get your brain fixed.”
After the bullet comments were turned back on, Chi Xingyu kicked out a few who continued to stir up trouble, warning coldly, “Anyone who continues to make lewd comments will be blacklisted.”
After this operation, the people in the live stream quieted down significantly, and such inappropriate topics were no longer mentioned. Chi Xingyu had always been tough with those outside of Tong Sui; if it weren’t for Tong Sui’s presence, he wouldn’t let these fools off so easily.
Tong Sui breathed a sigh of relief, but he still felt uneasy, considering whether to end the broadcast early. Just then, he heard Chi Xingyu calmly steer the topic back to the game, opening the training ground in the game. “Your basic operation skills are too weak; practice here first. I’ll demonstrate the most basic operations for you.”
His angle and position on the couch weren’t even optimal for gameplay—he looked like he was just casually clicking a few times—but every action performed on screen was executed perfectly. Tong Sui was completely mesmerized.
Seeing Chi Xingyu demonstrate so effortlessly, Tong Sui felt he could do it too. Filled with confidence, he stood in front of a fixed target. A magazine of bullets fired, but he hit nothing.
Tong Sui: “…”
—— “Hahahahaha”
—— “Sui Bao’s confident little expression is so cute! If it weren’t for the game graphics, you’d think he killed 19 in battle.”
—— “Just stop trying hard; just enjoy the soft life.”
The more the comments said these things, the more it ignited Tong Sui’s competitive spirit; he refused to believe he couldn’t do well. He pursed his lips, his fingers tapping rapidly on the keyboard and mouse.
“You don’t have to try so hard,” Chi Xingyu squeezed his little arm, “Your grip is too tight; relax a bit.”
As the ache spread through his arm, Tong Sui lightly hummed, obeying and loosening his grip, allowing Chi Xingyu to lean in and guide him.
Even though they used the same shower gel, Chi Xingyu had a distinct cold fragrance that nearly enveloped Tong Sui when he leaned in. Tong Sui dared not move.
A warm touch covered his hand, as Chi Xingyu’s palm took hold of the mouse, capturing Tong Sui’s hand resting on it.
Chi Xingyu’s hand was completely different from Tong Sui’s. His fingers were long and well-defined, the faint blue veins on the back of his hand easily wrapped around Tong Sui’s smaller hand.
This hands-on teaching was Chi Xingyu’s unprecedented gentleness and detail since he started gaming. If any teammates from the same squad witnessed this, they would be utterly astonished; normally, Chi Xingyu would only engage in verbal commands, and when asking someone to handle a task, he might as well have slapped them.
Usually incredibly impatient, he was now painstakingly helping Tong Sui repeat a simple basic technique over and over.
Tong Sui’s right hand, held by Chi Xingyu, felt warm, and after a while of instruction, he quietly said, “I think I’ve found a bit of feel.”
Chi Xingyu released his hand.
After the guiding strength disappeared, Tong Sui felt a bit unsettled, slowly and hesitantly repeating the previous action.
Originally, he had no confidence that anything would change, but remarkably, Tong Sui’s accuracy was noticeably better than before.
It actually worked.
Chi Xingyu praised, “Impressive, you’ve improved so quickly.”
Bullet comments:
—— “Sui Bao is amazing! Reward him with a kiss!!”
—— “Having this treatment is truly unique; Chi Shen, just pamper him.”
Tong Sui knew his own worth; being praised made him even more embarrassed, and he pushed Chi Xingyu gently, “You do your exercises, stop watching me. I’ll play by myself.”
Chi Xingyu hummed in response.
Though he agreed, while doing basic exercises, he still dedicated part of his attention and time to correct some of Tong Sui’s habitual errors.
After more than an hour of grinding in the training ground, Tong Sui officially entered a game match again and surprisingly didn’t die immediately upon landing, instead obtaining several kills.
Tong Sui was both nervous and excited, “Did you see that?”
Chi Xingyu, holding a book, instinctively tightened his mouth and smiled, “Yes, I see. The streamer is really impressive.”
Tong Sui felt his tail about to wag from the constant praises, and he didn’t forget to reciprocate, “You teach well; you could totally be a coach!”
Chi Xingyu replied blandly, “I can’t be a coach.”
Tong Sui didn’t understand, “Why? Is there a rule that players can’t be coaches?”
“It’s not that,” Chi Xingyu explained, “It’s just that I only have this kind of patience for you; I can’t do it with others.”
Only for Tong Sui.
Tong Sui felt his cheeks flush at the unexpected compliment, and he tightened his grip on the mouse involuntarily.
Fortunately, Chi Xingyu lifted his chin, signaling him to look at the screen, “Get ready; the area is about to shrink.”
