As long as Tong Sui is willing, even if it’s just a small gesture like beckoning with a finger, Zhong Yi would likely be unable to resist devouring her. Not to mention this great opportunity to be alone in a room together.
Chi Xingyu’s mind resurfaced that initial evening when they faced a punishment after a wild adventure; the two of them had been so close, separated only by an insubstantial tissue, that it felt almost intimate. Tong Sui seemed unfazed as he munched on snacks beside her.
The crisp potato chips crunched under Tong Sui’s bites, leaving a bit of powder on his fingers. He popped one finger into his mouth and licked it, a hint of moist red flashing briefly.
Chi Xingyu felt a mix of emotions. She wanted to be angry, but she had no stance from which to be upset. Tong Sui didn’t notice her peculiar mood and turned on the television, casually offering, “Want some?” while holding out his snacks.
Those three short words shattered Chi Xingyu’s stream of thoughts. Tong Sui turned to her, pinching a chip.
“I want to eat.”
Chi Xingyu shamelessly gazed at his hand as she said, “But my hands are a bit dirty; could you feed me?”
“You’re so troublesome,” Tong Sui complained, yet he obediently handed over the chip, “Young Lord, open your mouth.”
Chi Xingyu leaned in, feeling warm breaths lightly brush against her fingertips, closing her mouth around the chip, then raising her eyebrows towards Zhong Yi, who stood some distance away.
She bit the chip, its crunch echoing softly, “Delicious.”
Zhong Yi’s brow twitched at her smug look, unable to tolerate it any longer. He walked over and tossed a wet wipe towards Chi Xingyu’s lap, “If it’s dirty, wipe your hands yourself.”
Tong Sui assumed Chi Xingyu really liked the flavor and handed her the remaining half bag of chips while he went to the kitchen to wash his hands and grab a drink.
Now it was just Chi Xingyu and Zhong Yi.
Chi Xingyu placed the wet wipes back on the table, “What were you two doing just now?”
“You’re so eager to know, afraid of something?” Zhong Yi glanced towards the plush toy nearby, “Weren’t you just back from a date?”
Chi Xingyu replied, “Just worried you might be too overzealous and make it hard for Tong Sui to refuse.”
Zhong Yi shrugged, “It’s mutual.”
There was no evidence that Chi Xingyu had a stronger moral ground than him.
Tong Sui returned with several different drinks, sitting on the sofa. The two of them simultaneously shut their mouths, pretending nothing had happened earlier.
Chi Xingyu tilted her head, watching as Tong Sui opened one of the drinks, the sweet fruity aroma wafting towards her; it was peach flavored.
Tong Sui took a sip from the bottle, his Adam’s apple bobbing as mist collected on his lush lips, glistening and translucent.
The fruity scent seemed to intensify, inexplicably making Chi Xingyu’s throat feel a bit dry as she glanced at the remaining bottles on the table, one of which was the same kind.
She reached out for it.
Just as she was about to grasp it, another hand snatched the drink away.
Chi Xingyu was left empty-handed, staring at Zhong Yi holding the drink, “Didn’t you look down on these cheap drinks?”
Zhong Yi replied, “What’s wrong with trying?”
She opened the cap and drank half in one go.
Chi Xingyu retracted her hand.
Among the many flavors available, Zhong Yi just had to pick the same one as her; the intentions were clearly unspoken.
“Do you really want to taste this flavor?” Tong Sui asked, “I can share half with you, but I’ve already drunk from it; do you mind?”
Chi Xingyu pursed her lips, pretending to be reserved, “That’s fine.”
Bullet Comments:
– — How could Chi Dog possibly care? She wishes she could drink straight from Sui Bao’s mouth.
– — Hahaha, Zhong Yi feels like the drink lost its charm the moment it was within reach.
– — Sui Bao feeding and sharing his drink, don’t even mention it; it would dizzy anyone, let alone Chi Shen!
Tong Sui didn’t think too much about it. Naturally, he felt no aversion towards Chi Xingyu. He had done much more intimate things in other worlds, so it didn’t really bother him. Thus, the three of them squeezed onto the sofa for a while, watching television. By lunchtime, Tong Sui did not feel particularly hungry since he was full from snacks.
He skipped lunch and went upstairs for a nap.
By the time he woke up, it was nearing evening; the sky had grown dim, and he could hear the commotion from outside the small house.
Tong Sui walked to the balcony to look down and saw Sang Cai and Qin Xiuxian had returned.
Their car had just parked when Qin Xiuxian got out from the driver’s seat, moved to the passenger side, and planted a soft kiss on Sang Cai’s lips before opening the door for her.
Tong Sui was taken aback and covered his mouth in surprise.
Their relationship had progressed more quickly than he imagined. Now it appeared their bond was much stronger than when they had left, hand in hand as they entered the small house together.
Just then, a knock echoed at the door.
Zhou Siyuan’s voice came in, “Little Sui, are you awake? Dinner’s ready. You didn’t eat lunch, so come down and have something.”
“Oh, I’ll be right down.”
Tong Sui washed his face before heading downstairs.
Tonight’s dinner was particularly lavish, with dishes Zhou Siyuan made, along with some takeout from Sang Cai and the rest.
Seeing Tong Sui come down, Sang Cai grinned knowingly, pulling him to sit beside her, whispering just loud enough for the two of them to hear, “How are things between you and Chi Xingyu?”
Tong Sui was caught off guard, not expecting her to ask so suddenly.
Sang Cai continued, “I’ve been keeping up with trending searches lately, so don’t think you can fool me. I know what you two did in the bathroom.”
Tong Sui’s face, already slightly flushed from waking up, turned beet red instantly, his mouth agape in surprise, “Is that kind of thing trending too?”
He always thought this show didn’t have that high of a profile; even if some trivial daily occurrences were streamed, they shouldn’t end up in the final edit, and not many people should notice.
Sang Cai, seeing him shy like that, didn’t dare to tell him that not only had it trended but it was also number one, holding the spot throughout the night.
“What are you two talking about?”
