Tong Sui felt a bit at a loss on how to face Jiang Ciyuan. Yet, if he didn’t go up, he had no reason to stay behind.
Chi Xingyu finished washing the cups and placed them on the drying rack. “Are you going up?”
Tong Sui replied, “What else should I do?”
“How about you stay down here with me for a while? The sofa is actually quite soft, and there’s plenty of space,” Chi Xingyu suggested. “I can take you gaming.”
In truth, Tong Sui wasn’t very interested in gaming, but Chi Xingyu offered him a very convenient way out.
“Alright, but just for a little while.”
Chi Xingyu’s eyes lit up, and as he walked, he practically glued himself to Tong Sui’s side. “What do you want to play, or I can introduce you to one.”
Tong Sui nudged him away and looked at the quilt and scattered headphones and tablet on the sofa. “Where should I sit?”
Chi Xingyu cleared these items away and even thoughtfully put a pillow down for him. When he looked down, he noticed Tong Sui wasn’t wearing shoes.
Tong Sui had a small frame, with slender feet and delicate ankles, wrapped in just the right amount of flesh. His feet didn’t have any prominent veins, and even his toes were cuter than any he had seen.
Chi Xingyu hesitated for a moment before instinctively gripping onto Tong Sui’s feet.
Tong Sui’s feet were chilly against the ground, and as they were held in Chi Xingyu’s warm hands, his toes curled slightly, pushing at him with little strength.
“Let go.”
“Why aren’t you wearing shoes coming down here?” Chi Xingyu asked. “It’s too chilly; you might get sick. Let me warm them for a bit, as an apology to you.”
No one apologizes like that.
Although the action was a bit strange, Chi Xingyu’s palms were very warm, like a hot water bag that cost nothing.
Tong Sui pretended to kick him twice.
Chi Xingyu tightened his grip even more. If it weren’t for the dim lighting, Tong Sui would have likely been scared by the intense emotions swirling in Chi Xingyu’s eyes.
Tong Sui picked up Chi Xingyu’s tablet and glanced at the games on the home screen, losing interest quickly. He randomly selected a recommended movie without even reading the synopsis.
He thought he would just pass the time and pressed play.
After watching for a bit, Chi Xingyu leaned over to watch with him.
Rather than watching the movie, Chi Xingyu’s attention was mostly on Tong Sui, completely unaware of the film’s content.
Tong Sui was also watching rather casually, but his feet were becoming increasingly warm.
This time, he grew impatient.
“Let go; it’s too hot.”
Chi Xingyu realized that Tong Sui indeed found him annoying and let go, obediently sitting to the side and watching the movie.
The light from the tablet became the brightest source in the darkness.
Suddenly, two boys on the screen started taking off their clothes.
Accompanying this were breaths and various suggestive sounds.
Chi Xingyu was drawn in by the sounds and turned to look.
Such content would definitely get censored back home, but since he was using his own device and the app was foreign, it appeared right in front of Tong Sui.
He froze, nearly panicking as he hastily pressed pause and tossed the tablet back to Chi Xingyu.
“Are you a pervert?”
Tong Sui cursed, his face flushed red.
He even used his now-warmed feet to kick Chi Xingyu, repeatedly bumping against his legs.
Chi Xingyu quickly grabbed his leg, still dazed, completely unaware of what had happened, and felt his face heat up from Tong Sui’s insults.
“I don’t know what that was.”
The app Tong Sui was using was for watching foreign e-sports players’ live streams and videos. Occasionally he would use it, but as for why such a video appeared, Chi Xingyu had no idea.
But that explanation clearly failed to convince Tong Sui.
Chi Xingyu directly took back the tablet and opened the app. “You can check the follows and recommendations; I truly haven’t been watching anything inappropriate.”
Tong Sui wasn’t interested in checking.
Chi Xingyu went through everything from the most frequently used apps to those he hadn’t opened in ages, showing Tong Sui everything.
There was indeed nothing risqué; it was all just pure games.
When he opened one short video app, Tong Sui suddenly heard his own voice.
It was a highlight reel.
It contained a compilation of various moments from Tong Sui, with a small line at the bottom that went unnoticed: “Today’s lick achieved.”
Tong Sui: “?”
Chi Xingyu panicked, his fingers that never trembled while gaming quivered slightly as he swiped to the next video.
It was footage from his previous live stream.
Tong Sui lifted his finger and scrolled down several more videos, all of which were unsurprisingly about him.
The precision of big data recommendation algorithms could pinpoint favored tags, and the high level of similar content made it clear just how many videos Chi Xingyu had watched related to him.
Tong Sui stated, “Are you going to explain this?”
Chi Xingyu didn’t know how to explain.
During that time, after watching Tong Sui’s streams, he occasionally stumbled upon related videos. While gaming, he couldn’t focus on the small frame, and whenever he spotted Tong Sui’s face, his fingers would involuntarily come to a stop.
The platform would occasionally recommend other game streamers, but seeing that Chi Xingyu was uninterested, it all turned into content related to Tong Sui.
Thinking of the “pervert” insult from earlier, Chi Xingyu felt his face heat up, yet he couldn’t shake off the inexplicable excitement.
Tong Sui wasn’t wrong to scold him.
Watching someone else’s videos secretly, Chi Xingyu couldn’t count how many he had seen. He struggled to rationalize his obsessive behavior even to himself.
The kicks he received didn’t hurt at all; instinctively, he found himself rubbing Tong Sui’s feet.
Even he couldn’t understand why he was acting this way.
Seeing he hadn’t spoken for a long time, Tong Sui simply wanted to pull his feet back and return to his room but inadvertently kicked Chi Xingyu instead.
