Tong Sui nodded.
He cooperatively walked to the window and pulled the curtains closed, causing the room to darken immediately.
Tong Sui lay back down on the bed, closing his eyes but finding no trace of sleepiness. After tossing and turning, he still couldn’t fall asleep.
He had slept quite well the previous night, and now forcing himself to sleep wasn’t working. Considering Jiang Ciyuan was still asleep, he felt hesitant to turn on the television.
After some hesitation, Tong Sui tiptoed out of the room.
The production team was busy editing.
During this time, the second and third episodes of the heart-pounding show had been edited and released, further elevating its already high popularity.
Though the production team was backed by several major investors, there were still brands looking to advertise that approached them due to the show’s rising heat.
The brands’ requirements were simple: they needed Tong Sui’s participation in the shoots.
Thus, the production team successfully found Tong Sui watching television on the first floor and informed him about the situation: “We should need to conduct an advertisement shoot tomorrow or the day after. The remuneration will be calculated separately in a contract. Do you have any other questions?”
This was a rare opportunity to make good money.
Not only could he earn from recording the variety show but also from the advertisement shoot.
Tong Sui readily agreed.
At that moment, a staff member approached, “Director Sun, Zhou Siyuan over there said he forgot to bring some materials. What should we do?”
Everyone in the crew was busy editing and preparing materials for the new brand integration, leaving no one to send someone to S University.
Sun Tao furrowed his brow, “Does it have to be sent over now?”
The staff member nodded.
“It should be something needed for the academic lecture.”
Seeing their distressed expressions, Tong Sui, who had been idle watching television, spoke up, “How about I deliver it?”
Sun Tao’s eyes lit up, “Great.”
It was as if he had been waiting for Tong Sui to say that.
Tong Sui picked up the document bag from Zhou Siyuan’s desk and took the production team’s car to S University.
S University is a renowned first-class university in the country, with a large campus and classes in session, so not many people were around.
Tong Sui walked a bit faster than usual, afraid that Zhou Siyuan might need the materials urgently. However, due to the sheer number of teaching buildings, he stumbled upon the location Zhou Siyuan had given him.
Looking through the window, he saw Zhou Siyuan standing at the podium, dressed more formally than usual in a fitted white shirt and black trousers, a modest yet stylish outfit.
Most of the teachers at S University who have the right to lecture are middle-aged, lacking physical appeal, but Zhou Siyuan was entirely different.
Even with the simplest attire downplaying his presence, he was still incredibly captivating.
Although Zhou Siyuan wasn’t a professional teacher, his speaking volume and pace were just right, showing that the attention of over a hundred people below posed no pressure on him.
Tong Sui stood outside, holding the document bag.
He kept quiet, afraid to interrupt Zhou Siyuan’s speech.
However, some students in the classroom noticed him, turning the previously quiet class into a buzz of whispers.
“Quick, look outside, there’s a gorgeous guy!”
“Oh my God, why is my cutie here!? Is this a dream?”
“Help, he’s so stunning! Even from far away, he’s shining!”
Everyone was in their teens or twenties, lively and restless, and some couldn’t help but sneakily pull out their phones to take pictures.
Zhou Siyuan naturally sensed the change in the atmosphere. Glancing outside, he tightened his grip on the microphone and said, “Everyone, please take a look at the content on the PPT.”
As he spoke, he put down the microphone and walked outside.
A ruckus erupted in the classroom, with almost everyone’s necks craning toward the door.
The scene of the two standing together looked like something out of an idol drama.
Zhou Siyuan quickly stepped outside, “What brought you here?”
“The production team said there wasn’t enough time,” Tong Sui replied, handing over the document bag that carried his warmth. “Here.”
Zhou Siyuan took it, “Are you heading back now?”
“Yeah,” Tong Sui said, “Do you have anything else to do?”
Zhou Siyuan replied, “This class still has twenty minutes left. To thank you for delivering the documents, how about I treat you to a meal at the cafeteria afterwards?”
Twenty minutes would pass quickly.
Tong Sui had nothing else to do either, especially since everyone was on break and might not have food available.
“Okay, I’ll wander around outside.”
Having the cameraman stay there might interfere with the class.
Zhou Siyuan nodded.
He returned to the classroom, where the atmosphere was utterly different from the previous dullness, filled with lively energy.
It wasn’t until Tong Sui’s figure disappeared around the corner of the corridor that the situation calmed down a bit.
Tong Sui wandered around the campus casually. He didn’t say where he wanted to go; he simply wanted to kill time.
From a distance, he heard the sound of running.
He followed the sound and approached, where on the basketball court, young men in sports jerseys were energetically playing ball.
Since it was class time, there weren’t many spectators.
Tong Sui found a corner and sat down quietly.
They were just playing casually without taking it seriously. When they got tired, they would walk over to drink water, raising their heads and spotting Tong Sui sitting not far away.
Tong Sui looked youthful, dressed in loose, casual clothes, giving off the vibe of a newbie just starting university.
Yet, he had a face that couldn’t be ignored.
The players frequently turned their heads to sneak glances at him. What began as casual play suddenly sparked a competitive edge under Tong Sui’s gaze.
Though Tong Sui sat in the stands, he didn’t pay close attention; instead, he seemed to sit there and clear his mind.
He was startled when someone approached.
A few tall boys came over, sweat glistening on their skin, radiating the vibrant energy of youth alongside a wave of pressure.
