Should he be angry?
Tong Sui weakly said, “But I think he has a point. If it weren’t for you playing with me, I wouldn’t have so many people paying attention. Plus, you’ve taken me out to eat fried chicken so many times.”
The little streamer in the video spoke as seriously as he did while playing games, his words softening Chi Xingyu’s slight irritation, even causing a subtle joy to arise.
He looked at Tong Sui’s soft cheek; what would it feel like to press his hand against it?
It should be soft, right?
Chi Xingyu cleared his throat, confidently said, “Make your streaming window a bit larger.”
“Huh? Do I have to adjust it?” Tong Sui questioned, “Won’t it block the game interface?”
Chi Xingyu chuckled briefly, “Do you think the people coming into the stream are here to see your face or to admire your character design and impressive driving skills?”
Tong Sui: *whimpers*.
Seeing Tong Sui’s wronged expression, the comments erupted with laughter:
— Hahaha
— Why is Chi Shen being so frank? Does our kid treasure care about face?
— I’m an LSP, I’ve come clean.
— Sorry, my wife! I admit I was attracted by your face, but your personality is also very important. As for the game content, well, haha.
— Why don’t we move to the entertainment section? The gaming area is indeed a bit tough on our kid treasure.
…
Chi Xingyu raised an eyebrow, “See? Bring your face a little closer.”
Tong Sui had no choice but to obediently comply, positioning the camera closer.
He was a bit too close now.
The skin exposed from under his collar of pajamas was as fair as jade, his smooth collarbone clearly visible, with only his rosy lips and delicate earlobes showing above.
“Is this okay?”
As he spoke, his lips parted, revealing a glimpse of pearly white teeth and a petite tongue inside.
The audience in the streaming room instantly went wild.
— Aahhhhhhh!!!
— Help! It’s too close! Wife, give me a kiss!!
— I don’t care, I want to make out with the kid treasure, passionately kiss my darling until he cries!!
— Thank you, Buddha, for curing my obsessive cleanliness!!
Chi Xingyu watched the kid leaning into the camera, the scene overlapping with some of the images from his dreams, even more impactful than the dreams themselves.
It felt like a feather had scratched at the bottom of his heart; this lingering itch not only did not fade with time but instead spread through his limbs and merged into his blood, making him feel hot all over.
Chi Xingyu’s throat rolled painfully, he grabbed the water cup beside him and gulped down a large mouthful, his Adam’s apple bobbing noticeably.
His unusual actions were noticed by the attentive viewers.
— Did Chi Shen also get parched?
— Don’t tell me he’s having a reaction (Can we say this? Hehe)
Chi Xingyu observed the comments spiraling into more fantastical territory. He spoke hoarsely, “No need, put the camera back where it was.”
“Oh, okay.”
Tong Sui also felt that it had been too close just now; it felt a bit strange, and putting the camera back made it feel much more natural.
The comments were full of lamentations.
Yet, Chi Xingyu smirked inwardly; compared to his trivial feelings, this crowd was overreacting.
As Tong Sui wanted to check what the comments were saying, Chi Xingyu recalled some of the filthy words and hurriedly called out to him, “Alright, get ready quickly.”
Tong Sui quickly clicked to prepare.
They loaded into the quality plaza.
Before officially boarding the plane, there was a minute-long wait for the map to load, and all the players in this game were present.
Tong Sui was throwing the apple in his hand randomly.
Then he noticed someone approaching, dramatically exclaiming to Chi Xingyu, “Wow! Brother, that trench coat of yours must be very expensive, and that scarf looks so cool. Together they must come to almost ten thousand! Can you take it off and lend it to me for a bit?”
Tong Sui was stunned.
He had noticed before that Chi Xingyu’s character was quite handsome, but he had never imagined it would cost so much money.
“That’s just too expensive…”
The little streamer who could only afford shared housing exclaimed in surprise.
The passerby player saw Chi Xingyu was silent and pleaded again, “Bro, I really like it. Since it’s your clothes, just lend them to me to try for a bit.”
Chi Xingyu responded coldly, “No.”
The person didn’t expect this outright rejection and felt a bit embarrassed, adding, “Come on, that’s just stingy. Lending it for a bit won’t kill you.”
Chi Xingyu replied, “It won’t kill me, but I find it dirty to wear something a beggar has put on.”
The comments flooded in:
— Ah, finally, it’s the familiar trash-talking Chi Shen.
— Today’s quote from Chi Xingyu [1/1]
— Well done, I hate players who want to freeload.
Tong Sui watched as the player left in defeat, muttering, “I found it strange earlier. This outfit is quite nice. Why haven’t I seen other players wearing it? Turns out it’s just too expensive.”
Chi Xingyu asked, “Do you want to try it on?”
“Huh?”
Tong Sui was taken aback as he looked at Chi Xingyu, who had just been cursing at the player, now removing that outfit and presenting it in front of him.
He suddenly didn’t know whether to take it or not.
Chi Xingyu urged, “Hurry up and put it on; the 60 seconds is almost up.”
Finally shaken from his stupor, Tong Sui picked it up and put it on.
His original character was a silver-haired girl with twin tails, and wearing the trench coat didn’t make him look as handsome as Chi Xingyu’s white male character.
But did that even matter?
Just thinking about the price of this outfit made Tong Sui feel extremely satisfied.
After boarding the plane, Chi Xingyu casually marked a popular parachuting location, then recalled that yesterday the kid said he didn’t like landing with guns, so he promptly changed to another location.
As they ran around the shrinking area, they occasionally encountered a couple of players. Chi Xingyu would shoot them down and let Tong Sui loot their bags.
