“You cheating orphan, your mother %&…”.
Tong Sui frowned a little at the words; this person had quite a foul mouth.
Instead of retaliating, Chi Xingyu put away his gun and said to him, “It’s your turn.”
“Huh?”
Tong Sui looked at the player still crawling on the ground and immediately understood; he needed to teach this foul-mouthed guy a lesson!
He grabbed a MINI and angrily fired a round of shots.
The opponent: “…”
Chi Xingyu: “…”
The viewers in the live stream: “…”
Tong Sui felt numb; he couldn’t even hit from this distance. He was terribly embarrassed and almost wanted to pull the plug right then.
The bullet comments were silent for a second before someone spoke up:
– If he had hit just one bullet, it wouldn’t have resulted in a total miss.
– Opponent: Damn it, aimbot!
– In a way, that’s actually pretty impressive.
Tong Sui didn’t dare to look at the comments and helplessly stared at Chi Xingyu, “What should we do now?”
Chi Xingyu replied, “Continue.”
Tong Sui could only grit his teeth and move forward, thinking it was close enough to hit now.
After several rounds of fireworks, he quietly moved a little closer.
The opponents could only watch their health bars slowly dwindling, feeling frustrated, and one shouted, “If you’re going to kill me, do it quickly. Stop dragging this out.”
Tong Sui: I’m trying my best.
He truly wasn’t doing it on purpose and finally managed to take out this foul-mouthed guy before his bullets ran out.
Tong Sui breathed a sigh of relief in his heart.
Then he heard Chi Xingyu’s praise, “Not bad.”
Tong Sui’s heart skipped a beat.
Although it was praise, it sounded a bit harsh to him.
Regardless, he had secured his first kill of the day.
They moved forward as the countdown for the shrinking circle began.
Tong Sui gradually forgot the earlier embarrassment; while Chi Xingyu fought others head-on, he hid and waited for opportunities.
However, he was called again, “Number one, come here.”
Tong Sui ran over, seeing a situation similar to the one on the bridge, and said, “… Can I not fight?”
Chi Xingyu asked, “What do you think?”
This time, Tong Sui learned to be cautious; he didn’t dare shoot recklessly and only fired when he was confident enough.
After a few shots, a calculation screen suddenly popped up on the interface.
[Winner winner, chicken dinner.]
They won?
Tong Sui was dazed for two seconds before realizing that Chi Xingyu had called him to shoot the final bullet.
He felt an inexplicable sense of guilt for lying low throughout the game while still ending up as the first. If Chi Xingyu hadn’t been around, he would probably have experienced countless airplane rides tonight.
However, even so, Tong Sui didn’t want to continue teaming up with him.
Every time they landed in such dangerous spots with bullets zipping over their heads, and Chi Xingyu would provoke and fight back, making sure to pull out any enemies that attacked him.
It was like being with a battle royale bully.
Not knowing that he had gone from being a number four to Chi God and then to a bully, Chi Xingyu raised an eyebrow and said casually, “So, do you want to play another round with me?”
Tong Sui’s eyes lit up momentarily.
So, they could choose?
He whispered, “I don’t really want to…”
Chi Xingyu nodded, “Then let’s play in the desert next—wait, what did you just say?”
Tong Sui nervously swallowed, using a negotiating tone, “Chi God, I’m only going to hold you back. Why don’t you find someone else?”
Chi Xingyu coldly replied while biting his jaw, “Even if you don’t have legs today, you still have to queue with me.”
Tong Sui: Waaaah.
Author’s Note:
Chi Xingyu: Keep my love well!
Chi Xingyu completely denied Tong Sui’s right to back out and coldly shouted, “Prepare.”
Tong Sui could only click to prepare.
He watched as Chi Xingyu marked a popular landing spot and had grown accustomed to his quick pace; he jumped down alongside him.
Chi Xingyu was quick; he could find guns right away, often while Tong Sui was still hanging in the air, he could hear bullets whizzing by him.
Tong Sui was very aware of his own limitations and tried to land in areas with fewer people, quickly running away if he heard footsteps.
He had rarely played games; usually, he just watched movies and dramas, and this type of game was practically his first encounter.
If it weren’t for the original owner’s memory still being present, he probably wouldn’t even remember the button controls.
After he wandered around for a while, Chi Xingyu had already dealt with most of the opponents.
Looking at all the loot on the ground, before Chi Xingyu called him, Tong Sui was very proactive, “I’m coming, I’m coming!”
While looting, he thought that Chi Xingyu probably didn’t even need a teammate.
Why did he insist on dragging him into the game?
Did he enjoy watching Tong Sui embarrass himself or did he just want a good luck charm by his side?
Chi Xingyu watched as Tong Sui slowly looted, his twin ponytails swaying, and the corners of his mouth slightly curved in an apparent offhand comment, “Are you as good when playing with someone else as you are with me?”
“No, no,” Tong Sui replied, “You’re the best player I’ve encountered!”
Chi Xingyu smirked.
Although this number one was unskilled and loved to act cutesy, he still had a bit of awareness.
He glanced at the live stream comments:
– [Next match is a solo queue.]
– The little scumbag Chi insists on getting compliments after being rejected for teaming.
– To be fair, Chi God has never teamed this often with anyone else privately, and it’s sweet that he gets flustered with a few compliments.
– Fun fact: Chi Xingyu’s teammate once revealed that he lost his first kiss at the same time, no rumors, as foul-mouthed as he is, he’s still quite innocent!
…
Tong Sui sweetly said in the game, “I’m good now, where are we going next?”
At this moment, the sound of the plane passing overhead drew his attention back.
