The door handle was turned.
The mattress sank slightly, emitting a soft sound.
The sky had completely darkened.
In the bedroom, where the curtains were tightly drawn, darkness enveloped Tong Sui. Even the moonlight couldn’t penetrate the barrier of the curtains, surrounding him in an infinite blackness.
He could feel that he was lying on Jiang Hua’s bed.
There was a cool scent in the air.
Unlike the feeling of sneaking in, he was now being embraced by the owner of this bed with no concealment.
Jiang Hua’s kiss followed closely after.
In this completely private environment, Tong Sui still felt very nervous.
Jiang Hua’s body temperature was slightly cooler than his.
It always reminded him of some cold-blooded animals, which were mostly dangerous and dark creatures.
But Jiang Hua was not entirely like that.
There were parts of him that felt quite warm, such as the palms of his hands, which felt as if they could burn through Tong Sui.
Tong Sui frowned, his eyelashes fluttering.
The darkness deprived him of part of his vision but heightened his sensitivity to touch.
After a long kiss ended.
Tong Sui sank deeply into the pillow, breathing in the scent that belonged to another person.
A snake coiled on a dark branch opened its eyes, its pupils sharp and narrow, slowly creeping down its prey while flicking its tongue.
A sudden chill ran through Tong Sui’s side, stimulating him to arch his back and bounce slightly on the bed.
He was pushed back down by Jiang Hua’s hand.
Jiang Hua held a piece of clothing in his hand and handed it to Tong Sui, saying, “Hold onto this.”
Tong Sui obediently gripped the corner of his clothing.
His gaze wandered in the dark, unable to find a focus, every slight sound made him particularly attentive.
“Team Hua, I want to see you…”
Jiang Hua fell silent in the darkness for a moment.
The light came on.
A dim yellow lamp at the head of the bed barely illuminated the scene in front of him, but the boundaries of the shadows were sharply defined.
Jiang Hua silently leaned down.
His shoulders were broad and strong, like a winding mountain, and the subtle lines of his arms bulged with veins.
He said, “You should digest well after a good meal.”
…
It was unclear how much time had passed.
Tong Sui tilted his head back to look at the weak bedside lamp; the overlapping, changing light combined with the droplets on his eyelashes created a blurry vision.
“Jiang Hua, that’s enough.”
When he spoke, his chest rose and fell, and his words lacked any force, sounding more like a muddled pout.
Jiang Hua’s Adam’s apple bobbed.
The soft sound caused Tong Sui’s mind to blank for a moment, then he realized it was the sound of swallowing, and his face turned completely red.
He was so ashamed and angry that he covered his already burning eyes with his arm.
“How can you do this?”
Jiang Hua replied heavily, “How so?”
“Uh… just…”
Tong Sui stammered, unable to express himself, his face flushed spreading to his body, like a piece of jade with a delicate pink hue.
Finally, in frustration, he said, “You are being too much.”
Jiang Hua feigned ignorance, asking, “Where am I being too much?”
Tong Sui replied, “You’re bullying me.”
“Is that considered bullying?” Jiang Hua replied. “Then I’ll comfort you.”
Tong Sui frowned again.
He felt like a piece of butter melted under the sun.
Suddenly, Tong Sui’s body tensed.
He anxiously pressed Jiang Hua’s shoulder, gazing at him with confusion.
“Do you… want to be the top?”
They had never clashed over such issues, so Tong Sui naturally categorized this world’s Jiang Hua in the same way.
But he forgot that this world was different.
This world’s Jiang Hua was not shaped by the worldview he had exposed himself to in the previous two worlds, but rather was an aggressive adult male.
So it was perfectly normal for Jiang Hua to want to be the top.
However, Tong Sui’s brow knitted in distress.
Jiang Hua questioned, “The top?”
Tong Sui, embarrassed, hurriedly gave a disordered explanation.
From his somewhat confused words, Jiang Hua understood what he meant.
He also fell silent for a few seconds.
Due to his inherent nature, he was not used to giving up control to others.
But…
He looked at Tong Sui’s slightly furrowed brow, and his heart fluttered, losing his stance, he leaned down to kiss his rosy lips.
Jiang Hua gently said, “Whatever you want me to be, I will be.”
Tong Sui let out a sigh of relief.
Although he didn’t know whether Jiang Hua was serious or just saying it casually, he propped himself up with his elbow before he became too dazed from the kiss.
“It’s getting late; I should go back.”
“Can you not leave?” Jiang Hua said. “I’ll let you be the top.”
His voice was low, mixed with a husky tone that was captivating in Tong Sui’s ears.
Tong Sui’s face immediately flushed red.
He angrily said, “That’s not the reason!”
“Then why? Are you not interested in me? Regretting it?”
“We’re moving too fast, I’m afraid you haven’t thought it through,” Tong Sui said quietly. “I… I’m also a little unprepared.”
Though he knew in his heart that Jiang Hua was his former lover, in this world, they were complete strangers with no interaction.
Who kisses just yesterday and completes everything the next day?
Moreover, the thought of Jiang Hua’s behavior in the previous world sent a shiver down his spine.
Though he did not reject doing such things, he was never that eager.
Tong Sui did not understand why his lover never seemed to tire of such matters; he had already lost count of how many times he had cried in bed.
