Lu Yiming was furious.
It was like holding a grenade in his hand, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t throw it out. He could only watch as the one he despised leisurely went about his business.
Unwilling to give up, Lu Yiming went to the palace to confront the situation. He couldn’t believe that no one would be interested in his information.
That day, a luxurious hover car came to a stop.
The palace gates swung open, and the guard team assembled, lining up on both sides to salute the descending Alpha.
“Your Highness, welcome back!”
Lu Yiming’s eyes lit up.
If he could get to the imperial palace, there was no doubt that Ye Linyuan would be doomed this time.
With that thought, he pushed his way forward.
Lu Yiming shouted, “Your Highness! I have intel to report!”
The guard team collectively raised their weapons, shoving him back forcefully, their dark gun barrels aimed at his head. “How dare you offend the Prince?”
Lu Yiming trembled in fear.
As Duan Jiamu stepped down from the hover car, he paused for a moment, glancing toward the source of the commotion.
A somewhat familiar figure caught his eye.
Upon closer inspection, Duan Jiamu saw that the person on the ground was wearing a military academy uniform, their face slightly familiar.
He struggled to recall for a few seconds and realized it was Lu Yiming from the student council.
Duan Jiamu waved his hand, signaling the guards to let him through.
He had disguised himself at the military academy to avoid relying on the empire’s power and to develop his survival skills, but since his identity had been exposed, there was no need to hide it anymore.
Duan Jiamu asked, “What do you want?”
Lu Yiming didn’t recognize Duan Jiamu; he had no impression of a nameless new student from the command department.
He only knew that the person in front of him was a prince.
Lu Yiming said, “I want to report that the headmaster of the military academy, Ye Linyuan, has become an Omega! Moreover, he has an inappropriate relationship with Tong Sui! He is completely unqualified to continue in his position!”
At the mention of Tong Sui’s name, Duan Jiamu’s expression subtly changed.
“Is what you’re saying true?”
Lu Yiming nodded vigorously. “It’s absolutely true! I have evidence!”
Duan Jiamu pondered for a moment, noticing the scattered eyes and ears around, then led Lu Yiming inside, saying, “Come in and explain this matter clearly.”
“Okay!”
Lu Yiming quickly followed him inside.
A confident smile appeared on his face as he clenched his fists—this time, Ye Linyuan and Tong Sui were finished!
The interior of the palace was extravagantly decorated, and a servant beside Duan Jiamu assisted in opening the study door.
Duan Jiamu sat behind the desk and waved his hand to the attendant, saying, “You all can leave now.”
“Yes.”
After the attendants exited and closed the door, the study was left with only Duan Jiamu and Lu Yiming.
Duan Jiamu looked down at Lu Yiming who was kneeling on the ground and coldly said, “Where’s your evidence?”
“Please take a look.”
A holographic image floated in the air, displaying Ye Linyuan’s health examination report, clearly stating Omega in black and white.
There were also photos of Ye Linyuan and Tong Sui holding hands, as well as a picture of Tong Sui sitting in Ye Linyuan’s lap in the headmaster’s office.
Lu Yiming said, “Ye Linyuan has become an Omega. Tong Sui is helping him relieve his heat. They are deceiving everyone; please punish them, Your Highness!”
Duan Jiamu glanced at the time.
Although he maintained a calm expression, his mind was already in turmoil.
No wonder Tong Sui had hastily left the hospital; it was to assist with this situation.
It seemed that during their time at the mecha base, Tong Sui’s clingy chatting partner was actually the stern-faced Ye Linyuan?
Duan Jiamu felt a strange disorientation.
It was nearly impossible to connect the two people, let alone the absurd idea that Ye Linyuan had undergone a second differentiation into an Omega.
After a few minutes of contemplation, Duan Jiamu lightly coughed and asked, “Who else knows about this matter?”
Lu Yiming replied, “I’ve only told you.”
Duan Jiamu narrowed his eyes.
This person in front of him had ulterior motives, eager to exploit this situation, but fortunately, the news had not yet spread widely.
Jiang Che had mentioned on numerous occasions how much help Tong Sui had been to him in daily life.
Moreover, during the previous mecha rampage, Tong Sui had bravely saved him.
Even though Ye Linyuan had transformed into an Omega and was unsuitable for the military academy’s current environment,
his abilities did not hinder him from continuing to manage it. Furthermore, under his reform, the military academy had changed dramatically over the years.
No matter what, Duan Jiamu had to take some action.
He said, “I will handle this matter. You are not allowed to tell anyone else, do you understand?”
Lu Yiming quickly replied, “Yes, yes, yes! I will keep my mouth shut!”
Duan Jiamu waved his hand, “Alright, you can leave now.”
“Okay!”
As Lu Yiming turned to exit, a sinister glint flashed in his eyes—there wouldn’t be much time left for their freedom.
After Lu Yiming left, Duan Jiamu sought out Tong Sui’s contact information.
This situation posed a hidden danger.
Tong Sui should still be unaware, so he initiated a video call.
Tong Sui was dragging his small suitcase down the stairs; he walked slowly and found that few students were left in the dorm.
Ye Linyuan had directly descended to take over the luggage for him.
The communicator chimed.
Ye Linyuan asked coolly, “Who’s looking for you?”
“It’s that command student I helped before,”
Tong Sui replied as he hopped into the vehicle, selecting an angle where Duan Jiamu would be unable to see Ye Linyuan, and connected the call.
“Classmate Duan, what’s the matter?”
Ye Linyuan slightly frowned.
Why was it this person again? Were they close?
Did they frequently communicate?
What intent did the other party have?
Ye Linyuan’s expression darkened as he fixed his gaze on the holographic image.
