“Oh.”
Tong Sui leaned in close, mimicking Yelin Yuan’s actions as he sniffed with his nose, the rich scent of alcohol overwhelming him.
He didn’t dare to bite, just rubbed his teeth against it lightly.
Yelin Yuan inhaled sharply. The cold, indifferent barrier around him was slowly crumbling, and his gaze grew increasingly intense.
Tong Sui was like a slow-moving little snail.
The deep breaths made his chest rise and fall, and he couldn’t help but rasp, “Tong Sui, hurry up and mark me.”
Tong Sui replied, “But I can’t bite down.”
Yelin Yuan’s large hand grasped his thin shoulder, kissing his lips impatiently and licking his small canine teeth.
Tong Sui’s gums tingled.
“Just do it harder,” Yelin Yuan urged.
“I-I’ll try hard!” Tong Sui responded.
Yelin Yuan’s skin was pale, and faint blue veins pulsed beneath it.
Tong Sui leaned closer.
That elegant neck emanated the scent of alcohol, and along with the dizziness came a more subtle feeling of hunger. The bitten spot on his gums itched, so he opened his mouth and sank his teeth into the delicate skin at the back of Yelin Yuan’s neck.
Crimson droplets of blood emerged.
The faint metallic sweetness filled his taste buds.
Suddenly, Yelin Yuan’s body tensed like a coiled spring, a sound reminiscent of a beast’s low growl emanating from his throat.
His fingers dug into Tong Sui’s hair, sending a shiver through his scalp, desperately wanting to tilt his head back but unable to do so.
Yet he heard Yelin Yuan say, “Continue.”
Tong Sui had no choice but to obey, slowly injecting his pheromones.
The marking process was more intense than the agonizing heat, the pain exceeding its limits transformed into overwhelming excitement and pleasure.
He felt like a planet revolving around Tong Sui, where the time and matter of the universe became insignificant.
Perhaps years later, this planet would fade into emptiness, but every shattered piece would still be drawn together by gravity, forming a beautiful ring of stars.
Two utterly different scents merged perfectly, intertwining in strands that could not be separated.
Exhausted, Tong Sui slumped back.
Yelin Yuan reached out to catch him. Though his expression remained calm, his snow-like face flushed, with deep shadows evident in his eyes.
Tong Sui had marked for quite a while, and his mouth was sore; he wasn’t sure if he had succeeded.
“Is it over?” he asked.
Yelin Yuan replied, “Not yet.”
“Huh?” Tong Sui questioned, “Are you still in pain?”
“That’s not the issue,” Yelin Yuan said. “To ensure the dam doesn’t break during a heavy rain, it’s essential to maintain it and, more importantly, to drain the flood.”
Tong Sui’s head felt heavy, and he didn’t quite understand, looking at him with a blank expression.
Yelin Yuan said, “I am the dam.”
After a few seconds, Tong Sui met the emotions in Yelin Yuan’s gaze, suddenly realizing the meaning behind his words.
His face turned red all at once, his ears turning pink as well.
It took him a while to nod in agreement about repairing the dam, “I want to take a shower first.”
“Let’s go together.”
Yelin Yuan effortlessly picked Tong Sui up with one arm, his steps steady, completely unlike an Omega in heat.
The special care unit was designed for the sensitive period and fever phase of Alpha and Omega, thus it had an independent bathroom.
Though the bathroom wasn’t large, it separated wet and dry areas efficiently.
Yelin Yuan clicked his tongue, “No bathtub.”
The limited space of the glass-partitioned bathroom was almost filled when they both stood inside.
They stood facing each other.
Tong Sui felt a bit shy, “Maybe I should wash by myself.”
Yelin Yuan replied, “That’s fine, but I have an injury on my hand, so I’ll have to figure it out myself. I can shower with one hand.”
Tong Sui glanced at the wound on his hand.
As Yelin Yuan prepared to leave, Tong Sui reached out and pulled him back, “The wound can’t get wet.”
Though he said it out of concern for Yelin Yuan’s potential infection, once the glass door closed, Yelin Yuan revealed his true demeanor.
He had no consciousness of being a patient at all!
…
After showering, Tong Sui wrapped in a dry towel, droplets of water clinging to his soft hair.
Yelin Yuan said, “You wait for me outside for a moment.”
“Oh, okay.”
Tong Sui obediently walked out.
He sat on the hospital bed, the cool breeze from the air conditioner dispersing some of the heat on his face.
What was Yelin Yuan planning to do?
Hadn’t he already showered?
The system replied curtly: 【…Do you only wash the outside of cups?】
Tong Sui exclaimed, “Huh?”
The system replied: 【&*%… Understand?】
Tong Sui replied, “Got it, I understand.”
After a while, Yelin Yuan emerged.
Tong Sui recalled what the system had said, and his already cooling face flushed again.
Yelin Yuan approached, his body emanating wet warmth.
His form was strong, every muscle perfectly distributed but not overly exaggerated.
Glistening droplets of water slid down to his tapered waist.
He walked barefoot closer.
Leaning down to kiss him through the damp towel, he kissed deeply and passionately, his hand underneath Tong Sui’s chin tensed with veins standing out.
Tong Sui struggled to swallow as he felt overwhelmed, his throat bobbing.
When a comet passes a planet, if they get too close, below the Roche limit, the celestial body is constantly drawn and pulled by gravity, inclined towards fragmentation, becoming a ring that clings to the planet.
Tong Sui felt as if he might shatter into countless pieces.
The voice of the chip dragged him back to reality as someone persistently called, one after another.
He had no choice but to answer.
“Hmm? Why are you in voice mode? Where did you go, Tong Sui? The hospital can’t find you?”
“Yeah, we were scared when we got notified by the doctor. Are you okay?”
“Where are you?”
