Tong Sui, having slept through the morning, was no longer so sleepy. After filling his stomach, he fell asleep while being held by Ye Linyuan. Remembering what happened last night, he unconsciously moved a little away.
“Don’t move around,” Ye Linyuan pulled Tong Sui back, his thin lips brushing against the top of his head. “If you keep fidgeting, I’ll have to help you with some digestion exercises.”
Tong Sui immediately obediently stopped moving. Feeling that Ye Linyuan was just holding him without further actions, Tong Sui relaxed and fell asleep in his embrace. This time of doing nothing was particularly cozy.
After Tong Sui had enough sleep, Ye Linyuan helped him into his jacket, carefully fastening each button with his slender fingers.
“Shall we meet tonight?”
Tong Sui sat on the edge of the bed, looking at his drooping eyelids. “You know I was lying, right? I don’t need tutoring.”
“Who said I came for tutoring?”
Ye Linyuan finished fastening the last button and then squatted down to help him arrange his shoes. “We’re going out on a date.”
Hearing the word “date,” Tong Sui’s heart skipped a beat.
“Is this our first date?”
Ye Linyuan replied, “Hmm.”
After changing his shoes, Tong Sui stood up, lightly brushed his lips against the corner of Ye Linyuan’s mouth, and blushed as he walked out the door, saying, “Okay, I promise you.”
During the afternoon class, Tong Sui was preoccupied with Ye Linyuan’s words, suddenly laughing softly to himself.
Next to him, the chubby classmate looked at him in shock.
How could anyone laugh aloud during such a dull lesson?
After school, Tong Sui was about to grab his bag and leave.
Suddenly, a crowd of upperclassman Alphas in uniforms stormed into the classroom. “Wait a moment, everyone, let me promote our club.”
Tong Sui had to sit back down again.
Listening to their speech at the podium, his thoughts had already flown away.
A flyer was placed on Tong Sui’s desk.
“Classmate, I think you would be perfect for our photography club.”
“If you’re not interested, take a look at the Literature and Arts Club; you’d definitely stand out as a host.”
“Hey, don’t fight over me!”
“Who has taken him? Where he goes is not something I can decide.”
The several Alphas crowded in front of Tong Sui, almost on the verge of a fight.
Looking at the stack of flyers on his desk, Tong Sui finally came back to his senses and said, “I’ll consider it, thank you, seniors.”
In the blink of an eye, the previously heated Alpha crowd turned into smiles. “No problem, junior! If you have any questions, don’t be shy. Adding me on private chat is also fine.”
After waiting for them to leave, Tong Sui finally took the flyers and walked towards the school gate.
At this time, there weren’t many people left.
Tong Sui walked quickly, slightly breathless as he opened the car door. “Sorry, I got held up. You didn’t wait long, did you?”
Ye Linyuan wiped a thin layer of sweat from Tong Sui’s forehead. “No, you don’t need to rush next time.”
As Tong Sui sat down, he noticed that the driver and assistant who usually accompanied them were absent, leaving only Ye Linyuan in the car.
So it’s a private date.
Ye Linyuan glanced at the colorful flyers in Tong Sui’s hand, which were most likely appealing to new students.
He casually asked while driving, “Interested? Which one do you want to join?”
Tong Sui stuffed the flyers into his small shoulder bag, shaking his head. “Not interested. It’s too tiring; classes already take up a lot of time. If I join, I won’t be able to go out with you in the evening.”
Maybe it was just his illusion, but after he finished speaking, it seemed that the corners of Ye Linyuan’s mouth lifted slightly.
“Okay, then you won’t participate.”
They stopped the hover car at the business district again, and they had a simple meal together.
“Do you want to watch a movie?” Ye Linyuan asked.
Tong Sui nodded.
There was still time to catch a movie.
The cinema was in the shopping mall, and they took the elevator upstairs.
The promotional screen displayed recent movies.
Ye Linyuan asked, “Horror film?”
Tong Sui glanced at the dark scenes and long-haired shadows on the poster, shivering and shaking his head vigorously. “No, I can’t watch that.”
Ye Linyuan chuckled lightly. “Hmm, then how about this?”
It was a campus romance film, with a fresh and clean poster full of youthful vitality, looking quite appealing.
Tong Sui nodded.
Ye Linyuan bought the tickets, and since it wasn’t yet time to check in, they sat in chairs and waited for a while.
A couple walked past them, cuddling, and the taller Alpha said, “Baby, I’ll get you drinks and your favorite popcorn.”
The shorter Omega sweetly replied, “Thank you, darling! Love you!”
Tong Sui: “……”
Compared to the other people’s closeness, the two Alphas sitting stiffly together did seem a bit out of place.
His fingers resting on his lap were poked slightly; they were sitting close together.
Tong Sui turned to look at Ye Linyuan.
Ye Linyuan asked, “Shall I buy you something too?”
Tong Sui replied, “I just ate, no need to buy more.”
“It’s okay; if you can’t finish it, I’ll eat it.”
Ye Linyuan stood up and, after a short while, returned with a large bucket of steaming popcorn and two cups of cold drinks.
These items didn’t match his cold demeanor at all, and pedestrians would glance at him, his expression indifferent and calm.
It was hard to imagine such a person being in a cinema.
Wasn’t he being forced to come here?
The moment Ye Linyuan returned and saw Tong Sui, the cold and gloomy aura around him naturally faded away, becoming a bit more animated.
“It’s almost time; let’s go in.”
Once they entered, Tong Sui realized that Ye Linyuan had bought tickets for a couple’s screening, with no armrests between the two seats and dividers on either side.
