Tong Sui stood up and gently patted his shoulder.
Jiang Che flinched at his actions, nearly jumping up in surprise.
“Are you okay?”
Upon hearing his voice, Jiang Che turned unsteadily, his face unusually heated, his shoulders huddled like a frightened rabbit.
A faint fragrance wafted over.
Jiang Che whispered, “…I’m fine.”
Tong Sui paused, as if recalling something.
He grabbed the nearby chubby boy’s jacket and draped it over Jiang Che’s shoulders, gripping his hand through the fabric.
“Come with me.”
Jiang Che was startled and panicked, quickly holding onto the jacket tighter.
He followed closely behind Tong Sui.
As they stepped outside, they nearly collided with the chubby boy and a few classmates returning from the restroom, blocking their way.
“Hey, Sui Ge, where are you going? Class is starting soon.”
“I’m not feeling well,” Tong Sui replied, pulling Jiang Che out while adding, “By the way, can I borrow your jacket?”
Once they were far enough away, the chubby boy scratched his head and said to the nearby classmates, “They ran pretty quickly, doesn’t seem like he’s not feeling well.”
“Did you see who he was with?”
“I think it was Jiang Che…”
Tong Sui dragged Jiang Che down the school building and spoke in his mind to the system, “Help me find the nearest empty classroom.”
System: [Understood.]
Tong Sui led Jiang Che to an old laboratory in the corner of the first floor of the experimental building.
Dust and the scent of mildew floated out.
Tong Sui pulled Jiang Che inside, closed the door, and looked at him.
Jiang Che anxiously covered himself with the jacket.
“Did you bring your suppressants?” Tong Sui asked.
Panic flashed in Jiang Che’s eyes as he stammered, “What, which suppressants?”
“I know you’re an Omega, and you’re in your heat period, but I won’t do anything to you,”
Tong Sui said, stepping back, “If you brought them, it’s best to take them quickly. I can smell it on you.”
The scent on an Omega naturally provokes an Alpha.
If, in such an environment, an Omega’s pheromones were to leak during their heat period, it would lead to immeasurable consequences.
Jiang Che realized that Tong Sui was trying to help him.
He slowly calmed down from his initial shock, trembling hands pulling out a disguise hidden in his necklace. When he opened it, a small vial of suppressants was inside.
He deftly injected the substance into the back of his neck.
Tong Sui covered his nose and walked to the back of the laboratory, activating the fresh air system to disperse the pheromone scent in the air.
Jiang Che asked, “When did you know?”
“I knew from the very beginning, so you don’t have to be afraid. I won’t tell anyone about this.”
Tong Sui took out a wet wipe and handed him a piece, “Wipe your face, it’s nothing serious. You’ll feel better soon.”
Jiang Che took the wet wipe, gripping it tightly in both hands.
“I—I don’t know why this is happening. My heat period has always been regular. I take suppressants on schedule, but I don’t understand why I still heat up…”
As he spoke halfway, a shadow suddenly flitted by outside the window.
Tong Sui quickly walked over and opened the door.
“Bian Sheng, what are you doing here?”
Bian Sheng took a step back, forcing himself to stay calm, “I could ask what you two are doing here. What’s wrong with him?”
The system informed Tong Sui of the events that transpired, adding a reminder: [He drugged the drink you gave Jiang Che this morning; he still has some medication in his pocket.]
Seeing Tong Sui approach, Bian Sheng, while feeling some psychological pressure, didn’t run away after all.
“I didn’t provoke you, so don’t act rashly.”
Tong Sui said, “Give me what you have.”
“What things?” Bian Sheng said, attempting to leave, but Tong Sui performed the same move as before, kicking him behind the knee, causing him to kneel down.
A transparent small bottle rolled out of his pocket.
Tong Sui bent down to pick up the bottle, his gaze filled with undisguised disdain, “How could you think of drugging a classmate?”
Bian Sheng replied, “This drug isn’t harmful, it just affects—”
Tong Sui opened the small bottle and held it out in front of him, “You say it’s not harmful, then you should take all of it.”
Looking at the white pills, Bian Sheng swallowed nervously, raising his hand to strike Tong Sui’s slender wrist.
The bottle fell to the ground, scattering pills everywhere.
“Are you joking? If you want to take them, you take them yourself.”
Jiang Che heard the commotion and rushed out, stunned.
He didn’t catch what Tong Sui had said beside him, but saw Bian Sheng, who had previously looked defiant, picking up the scattered pills one by one and shoving them into his mouth.
