The mecha darted across the sky like a shooting star.
It finally landed on the lawn in front of the villa, startling the inexperienced little agricultural robot, which began spraying water wildly.
“Unknown intruder detected, initiating attack, zzzz—”
The water sprayed by the agricultural robot couldn’t even dampen the exterior of the mecha, appearing both clumsy and ridiculous.
However, once the mecha landed, the hatch remained resolutely closed.
Inside the cramped cockpit, Tong Sui was pinned down by Bai Xingluo, with the sensor lines still attached to his body.
Through their shared consciousness, Tong Sui could sense all of Bai Xingluo’s thoughts at that moment.
Tong Sui swallowed nervously.
Everything needed no verbal expression; when Bai Xingluo actively entangled with him, Tong Sui did not shy away.
“My lord, now that you know my thoughts, do you feel scared?” Bai Xingluo’s light blue eyes seemed somewhat heavy in the dim light.
A pair of gentle hands softly came closer as Bai Xingluo looked at him, “Your shared consciousness is even more honest than you, my lord.”
Tong Sui leaned in, awkwardly brushing against Bai Xingluo’s delicate lips.
“I will only like you.”
Bai Xingluo could no longer hold back; he pushed Tong Sui down.
The narrow cockpit was once again filled with spiritual energy, more intense than ever, as if all emotions needed to be unleashed.
—
When Bai Xingluo carried Tong Sui out of the mecha, he stepped into a puddle of water.
The agricultural robot was exhausted, sputtering, “Welcome back, master! Unknown intruder… is not moving anymore.”
Bai Xingluo glanced at the small robot, while Tong Sui poked his head out and petted its round little head.
Bai Xingluo’s eyes were still glistening with tears, his fingers hot to the touch, and his overtired appearance caused a malfunction in the agricultural robot’s programming.
It began to cry, “Lord is hurt! Lord was injured by this bad guy, woohoo!”
Tong Sui glanced over at the culprit, Bai Xingluo.
“It’s not hurt,” Tong Sui reassured the less intelligent robot, speaking in a soothing tone. “Did you water the vegetables today?”
The little robot then remembered its duty and rolled away, humming along to care for the vegetables.
Only then did Bai Xingluo carry Tong Sui into the bedroom, gently setting him down.
After all, the cockpit was full of hard metal, cold and uninviting; Bai Xingluo feared that staying too long might make his lord sick.
“My lord, shall we continue?”
Tong Sui replied, “Luo Luo, do you remember I mentioned I had something to tell you?”
Bai Xingluo listened to him but did not stop kissing; his voice became slightly hoarse, “Is it very important?”
“Yes.” Tong Sui pressed his lips together, recalling the 24-hour deadline, and finally mustered the courage to speak out, “Actually, I’m not a bug of this world. I am a mission performer, and my task is to save you.”
The moment he finished speaking, Tong Sui felt the warm lips against his neck turn cold.
Bug Race 42
As Tong Sui revealed this task information, the system in his mind began to complain.
System: [See, see! I told you no one would accept their true feelings being deceived. If the villain turns dark, the mission will fail, and you won’t be able to leave.]
Tong Sui had no energy to listen to the lengthy monologue; he only caught the last few words.
The thought of not being able to leave.
He truly did not wish to leave, but if Bai Xingluo became genuinely angry and never wanted to see him again, he…
“Mission performer, save me?”
Bai Xingluo almost ground his teeth while speaking those words, the pressure around him suddenly dropping, making it hard for Tong Sui to breathe.
“What does this mean?”
Tong Sui’s black feathers trembled slightly, as he lifted his wet eyelashes to meet the heavy gaze of Bai Xingluo, his whole body trembling with fear.
“Do you want to hit me?”
Tong Sui thought that if he could vent his frustrations, it might be acceptable.
Bai Xingluo found it laughable; the darkness around him seemed to blend with the surroundings, closing in on Tong Sui and gradually constricting his view, “You mean to say that none of this was your true intention?”
Bai Xingluo’s fingertips caressed his cheek, the familiar sensation carrying a completely different meaning than before.
The Bai Xingluo before him was dangerous, like a lion on standby, ready to pounce and bite his neck as soon as he struggled.
Tong Sui opened his mouth but didn’t know where to start explaining.
He had indeed treated this world as a mission world, including the target, but the moment he saw Bai Xingluo and the darkness and loneliness in his eyes, he could no longer distinguish between the so-called mission and reality rationally.
In his eyes, Bai Xingluo had always been a living existence.
And what he did was not imposed by the system or the mission; everything was because he wanted to do it.
Suddenly, a sharp pain struck his lips.
Tong Sui lowered his eyelids, his lashes glistening with moisture.
He always looked so innocent, even after doing such despicable things, he could still make one’s heart flutter.
Bai Xingluo kissed him fiercely, unlike any gentleness from before.
This kiss came with urgency and intensity, as if trying to urgently confirm something, mixed with a hint of metallic rust.
Tong Sui did not have the strength to resist the kiss; his mind slowed down as he stared vacantly at the ceiling, like the little robot outside in the courtyard, with tears streaming from the corners of his eyes.
Bai Xingluo was like a greedy wolf, devouring even those tears.
“When you did all these things with me, was it also for a mission?”
Those entangled responses whispering his name time and again made his eyes well up, revealing all the hidden emotions.
