The rumors are not exaggerated at all!
The star pirate even tried to whistle a long tune without shame, shouting, “Your Highness, come and arrest me quickly.”
After days of running around, 童岁 has grown a bit taller. His muscles have become more defined; although he doesn’t have that standard eight-pack abs physique, at least he has some contours now.
Approaching the disheveled star pirates, 童岁 has become numb to what initially was discomfort. He said, “You can provide some useful information to earn a chance for a reduced sentence.”
“Does liking you count as useful information?”
“If you would use your mental powers to soothe me just once, I swear I will tell you everything.”
“If you would prefer another method, that can work too.”
As soon as the star pirate finished his flirty words, an overwhelming sense of murderous intent hit him. A powerful mental force penetrated their mental ocean.
“Ahhhh!!”
They doubled over in pain, rolling on the ground, constantly begging for mercy.
“That’s enough,” 童岁 said, tugging at 白星落’s hand. “It’s not the first time we’ve encountered such star pirates. Why are you still so angry?”
“You are too kind.”
白星落 withdrew his mental powers, pulled out his small knife, and approached the star pirate who had just been rude. “Apologize.”
The star pirate repeatedly apologized, “I’m sorry, I was wrong. I spoke carelessly!!”
The remaining star pirates became much more subdued, sneaking glances at 白星落.
The rumors suggested that the one often accompanying him was an unknown female creature, usually cold-faced, but ruthless against those who dared to tease him!
After capturing all the star pirates, it was getting late. Since they were too far from the empire star, 童岁 and his companions decided to rest for a while.
The locals welcomed the military group warmly. This planet, with its economy based on agriculture, might not even rank among the many planets, but it has a unique climate with an abundance of delicious fruits and vegetables.
童岁 requested some seeds from them, planning to plant them when they returned, though he wondered if he could manage that.
When 童岁 returned to his room and placed the seeds on the table, he spotted 白星落 emerging from the bathroom.
Water droplets slid down his silver hair, gliding over his firm muscles, with a towel wrapped around him.
童岁 quickly turned his head, pouring himself a glass of water.
“I noticed you seemed to really enjoy those fruits today, so I asked for some seeds. After that, we can plant them ourselves.”
The footsteps drew closer, and an inexplicable nervousness surged through 童岁.
“We haven’t had a proper moment together for half a month, have we?”
The cold, refreshing scent of 白星落 lingered in the air; ever since they started spending time together, 童岁 had grown accustomed to it.
He took another sip of water.
“Recently, we’ve been busy dealing with the star pirates, and we’ve had our share of kisses.”
“The star pirates have been mostly dealt with; we can return to the empire star soon,” 白星落 replied. “But what I mean isn’t just kisses.”
童岁 gripped his cup, his ears subtly turning red.
They had only gone all the way once that night, but in the following half month, they had merely stolen moments during their busy times for kisses and hugs.
As he thought about it, his throat felt a bit dry again, and he nearly reached for the cup to drink.
白星落’s gaze fixated on his hand as he said softly, “Your cup is empty.”
Only then did 童岁 come back to his senses and realized he had finished his water without noticing.
Embarrassed, he set down the cup and stood up. “Then I’ll go take a shower first.”
白星落 stood up as well. “Let me show you; the bathtub inside is quite spacious.”
The next afternoon.
When 童岁 woke up from his bed, his clothes were already on. He recalled the events of the previous night, and his face still felt slightly hot.
The feeling of being surrounded by warm water; his damp silver hair like flowing moonlight.
“Are you awake?”
A strong arm encircled him, and 白星落 leaned close to his ear, his voice raspy from just waking, “You’re a bit warm; did you soak too long in water last night?”
It certainly was a long time.
And probably because they had been apart for too long, using their mental powers frequently had led to 白星落’s mental power fully merging with 童岁’s, allowing them to influence each other.
Until nearly dawn, 白星落 reluctantly released him.
童岁 cuddled under the blanket, burying his head inside it, and said softly, “I’m not running a fever. Are you feeling unwell?”
“No,” 白星落 replied. “I’m fine; I could even go a few more rounds.”
童岁’s ears slightly turned red, exposed to the air; because of his words, they felt even hotter, like ripened berries.
He complained inside his head to the system, “Isn’t 落落 supposed to be the high and mighty character? Why is he nothing like that anymore?”
The system replied: […] “You’re not in a position to talk; you’re the accomplice.”
Last night, the system had been forced to watch blurry scenes all night and consumed a year’s worth of dog food.
It really felt like a confinement.
Why should a system so familiar with bloody scenes be punished to watch others display affection?
This world should just hurry up and perish!
童岁 explained, “I did say I was tired. I did refuse.”
The system replied: “Is that what you call a refusal? You only added fuel to the fire! Didn’t you see that the more you cried, the more intense he got?”
童岁 was shocked. “D-Did that happen?”
Considering he had always been the passive one, he hadn’t felt much about it.
Even though he believed he had made significant progress with his physique compared to the beginning, it still felt inadequate before 白星落.
There were several times when 童岁 felt like crying.
But every time, he would end up being comforted by 白星落, gradually forgetting the reason. Those gentle words left him a little dazed; how could 白星落 say them so smoothly?
